Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

This course is my favorite one and I have a future in this course. 1:11.The faculty is pretty good .They helps us in every way they can. They give extra classes if we have any doubt. They are all PHD graduate. There are often class tests. The question are little hard . But if you are strong in basics you can score good marks.

Internships Opportunities

1.5

As I am in first year We are not allowed to do so. The seniors are allowed for internship. As I have heard form them they told me that we can go for internship in forth year to Indian Institute of Technology.

Fees and Financial Aid

All who admits in this college, have to stay in hostels. So there are two fees.Hostle fees and College fees. College fees is 900 per month.and the hostel fees is 3500 per month. They help uus financially. They give scholarship from institute to few students, who needs this.

Campus Life

1.5

All have to stay in hostel. So they have to obey the rules of hostel. The rules are very strict for today's generation. We are allowed to use our phone for only 2 hrs. The library is good . There are many books in this. There is no problem of availability of books. One can play all types of outdoor games in our playground.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There are Maharajs as our hostel superintendent. Five students can stay in one room . There are one table one desk one table for each and every students. The meal quality is pretty good. Every day Fish and egg and every Sunday meat. That is our meal. There is no extra process for hostle registration.

Admission

Eligibility is 70 percent in Boards. The application form is available in the website . vidyamandira.ac .Application fees is 500 rs in INR.I don't think that the admission process needs any improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've always found economics to be really interesting and thats why I choose to persue it. I wanted to dive deep into the actual concepts and workings of the economy and understand how the world works from an economist's point of view. Sadly the curriculam doesnt bridge the gap between theory and real life. It focuses heavily on textbook and not how the world works.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course is good but you have to opt for masters and PhD to get a good placement. After bsc there's not any placement. The curriculum was basically practical and theoretical based. But I think it should be more practical so that we can get a job after doing bsc. The teaching method was good I didn't have any problem with that. As it was under Calcutta University so the exam questions were too difficult, sometimes it came out of our syllabus , i think they should change this a little bit .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus for BSc. Microbiology Hons. was in line with my interests. Few topics like virology, bacteriology, and diversity of the microbial workd are what drew my attention to pick this course. Although there are some portions which one would consider "boring", but I believe every subject has its interesting as well as boring portions. It's seems fair to judge a subject by seeing if the "boring" portions outweigh the "interesting" parts or not.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness of the course curriculum, my rating is solid 4.1 out of 5. Because it offers a variety of courses like compulsory english, environmental science, constitution values of India, Inter Disciplinary Courses where one can opt for a variety of subjects which change along with the course proceeds or semester changes. Not only that two major papers and one minor paper are present throughout the semester. As a student we should be well aware of our country and its law as well as how we can keep our environment healthy followed by sustainable development.
