There are many ways for students to socially connect.
Infrastructure of the college is convenient.

Dislikes

Faculties should take some more doubt clearing classes at the end of the semester.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The faculty members of this college are very well-known and helpful. In the department, there are 30 faculty members. All the papers in the curriculum are taught neatly. The curriculum is pretty advanced and the faculty members teach everything with expert care.

Class Size : 180Course Fees : INR 102000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fee for B.Tech CSE for the 2020 - 2024 batch is 408000. In, the final year of the course, there are many companies that come to college for campus placements. The jobs have a 3 to 5 lpa stipend. Some companies with 24 to 26 lpa stipend also take freshers in from the college.

Campus Life :

There are yearly Technical Fest and Cultural Fest on campus. Classrooms contain a lot of space and are comfortable. Yearly sports days happen on campus. There are many clubs like media club, space club, etc. The library has a load of books which help students to study any topic they need.

Admission :

For the admission process, one should have passed their 10th. They should have a diploma or they should pass their 12th with marks above 60%. One should sit for the JEE exams. The application process should be done from the official website of GNIT. On the website, the application should be done and after that, the application will be accepted. Then the admission fees should be paid.

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Seeing stcet again through my eyes

Placement Experience:

Students from the 4th-year 7th semester onwards become eligible for all sorts of campus recruitments. Cognizant technology solutions are the principal recruiter. Other companies which used to come during this time include Infosys, Odesha technologies, itc infotech, and others. All these companies generally take many students from our campus. During our time around 88% of students got selected from our batch. Out of which many students got double job offers from cognizant and Infosys. Some got job offers in sonodyne, Vodafone, and other companies. The highest package was offered by cognizant which was about 6 lakhs per annum. An average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum was offered by Infosys followed by itc infotech which offered roughly 4 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree I will pursue Ms maybe or maybe I can opt for MBA too. Also, I can sit for ies exam. Let's see what happens.
