- events held at the college are pretty engaging
- the Library offered by the college is very well maintained
Dislikes
- management is slow, information can be made available early
- college timing can be kept a little later than usual
Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose this because this course is less complex than normal CA and gives you an international degree as well. exams were on time as mentioned in the orientation and the passing criteria for both internal and external exam was 40%
Internships Opportunities :
companies like Hitachi, Barclays, IBM, HCL have provided placements in the college. these internships are made available to the students in the last year of their course. mandatory 2months of internship is to be done by the students
Placement Experience :
the course offers 4 years but you can exit in 3 years by completing mandatory internship. college assures on providing and guiding for placements further that. highest package offered for bcom hons is of 11lpa as of now. my plans after getting the degree is of completing mba.
Fees and Financial Aid :
fees can be a bit high but it would have costed me around the same if I'd have done regular bcom and some other additional course. internship is compulsory in the third year/fourth year and college guarantees placement according to that
Campus Life :
college organises various fests time to time one of the major being the RIDE event. there are various clubs at the college and university level as well, the college level clubs including business, social, cultural, photography are run by students and they are given the posts of secretary etc based on their work. various sports events like basketball football cricket chess are also held on the university as well as college level
Admission :
admission process includes an entrance test of 100 marks and personal interview of 50 marks, based on these admission is done. if you get above a certain marks in extrance test you are offered scholarship. all information regarding this is available on the official site of the college.
Interview Experience :
entrance test was based on general knowledge, basic maths, logical reasoning, computer applications. level of difficulty is very bare minimum and you can pass this with your knowledge of 12th. personal interview was more based on your personality rather than know how questions
