What's New in MIT-WPU Faculty of Engineering?
- MITCOE Pune BTech admission 2024 is done through the MHT CET exam. The tentative MHT CET dates 2024 have been announced. The online application form will be released in March 2024. The MHT CET 2024 exam is to be held from April 16 to May 2, 2024.
- MITCOE Pune MTech Admissions are based on the GATE 2024 score. The registration process for GATE is over and the admit card will be released on January 03 onwards. GATE 2024 will occur on 03, 04, and 10, 11 February 2024.

- MITCOE is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, which is very good in terms of course structure. We also acquire practical knowledge. In MITCOE, there are many opportunities to showcase our talent and learn practical knowledge. Various events such as Robocon and Tesla are organized.
- The college doesnt provide internships, but very popular companies come every year, and almost 90-100% of students get placed annually.
Dislikes
- I am not leaving the hostel, but my friend is. The hostel rate is feasible, but the mess facilities provided to the students are not satisfactory

I applied for upes Dehradun i didn't took admission there as i know some their students and they told me that college is not good anymore no students take admitted their for petroleum engineering i chose this college because the reviews were good and i liked their faculty members no i didn't get any rejection from any private colleges. My college takes admission on the basis of jee mains mht cet and pera cet exams i got accepted in this college on the basis of my pera cet score exam most preferred for this college is mht cet it has cutoff of around 80percentile the overall admission process was smooth

The eligibility depends on the course you will take on , the application forms are quite easy to go on you can find them on their site also you can apply for the college with your JEE mains %ile , MHCET , PERACET I have scored 78% ile in PERACET and have opted for the mechanical branch in the college. Application fees will be around 500-10.

Admission:
An entrance exam of MIT-WPU is supposed to be cracked to be eligible for getting admission. The form for the following exam is available on the MIT-WPU website. Once the exam is cracked and you get a call from the college and are informed of the courses available for you as per eligibility and availability. Once you select the course you are asked to pay the fee instalment 1 to confirm the seat.

The admission process for MIT-WPU was through JEE entrance and MHT-CET. They also conduct an entrance exam. I got a scholarship through my JEE marks. They also conduct an interview process for admission purpose.

Visited college on the admission process day, than they called out names according to merit list and than verified documents and sent to office for higher authority signature , payed 1st installment collected receipt for that, than there is a ERP process where we have to fill all our past education details family details and then you can attend college from tomorrow.

I have applied for Dayanand Sagar University, Bangalore but in my opinion, MIT-WPU is better so enrolled in MIT-WPU. I think cut-off score was 90 percentile something and your score should be more than 60% in PCM in 12th boards. I received and confirmation mail for my admission.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose Electronics and Telecommunications Engineer as i have interest in Electronics. Faculty were good and well qualified. All the faculties are post graduate in their repective subject and many are even Phd. Few senior faculties are excellent with their knowledge and disciplined.

Curriculum is decided by the pune university, therefore it is upto the mark. It can be hectic some times but overall I would say it gives you the proper time to complete your course work and explore new things which interests you more. Curriculum is not research driven though.

College comes under Pune University so the syllabus was up to date, practical.learning was more and we learnt the practicals individually. The labs and other equipments required for practicals were great and it gave us good opportunity to learn new things by experimenting by ourselves
Admission:
The admission process is strictly based on merit basis based on our rank and score in the entrance exam. I've chosen this college because this is one of the best colleges in Maharashtra and the placement is also very good at this college. The admission process is totally handled by DTE Maharashtra. I prefer this college because of its placement and annual package is given to students and its infrastructure is also very good.

MITCOE has not yet released the cutoff for MHT CET. Though, overall cutoff for MHT-CET for 2023 was 96.07 - 99.03 percentile.
No, admission in MITCOE is entrance based and you have to qualify in the repective entrance exam as per the program you opt for.
