Course Curriculum Overview :
I had an interest in finance and economics so I chose this area. There is 1 teacher per 30 students. Qualifications of the faculty are upto the mark most of the faculty have phd and equivalent teaching experience as per ugc guidelines. Exams were timely however in the pandamic situation few exams were delayed however the difficulty of the examination was upto the mark.
Placement Experience :
From 5th semester students are allowed to attend the placements. Entities like ICICI Bank Kotak Mahindra Bank and State Bank Of India visited for the students of economics. Highest package offered was 6.7 LPA and the average package was 2.25 LPA. Even in the worst scenario there is a chance of 90% students gets placed every year. My plan is to pursue MBA in finance after getting the degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The cost of studying here is decent and affordable. Also the semester wise fees and exam fees are not that high. There are many scholarship programs by the local government which a student can avail and get upto 90% waiver on overall fee. Also the placement wing is supportive and they assist you in every aspect until you get selected however they only support average students of class.
Campus Life :
Campus is pretty good and happening, there are lots of fest organised every year. One of the most happening fest is the cultural fest which runs for 2 days and includes many activity such as singing dancing, bgmi etc. There are many clubs also which you can join according to your field of interest like photography etc.
Admission :
Eligibility of the course is decided on the basis of 12th marks and average cutoff is calculated. Application form and process are easily available on the university and college website also student can directly reach to college office for any issue. Reservation benefits are only limited to cutoff marks. Document verification is the area of opportunity I wish to see fulfilled in the future because its really not possible to visit college too often in a same day.
