The Enrolment List will be released after Nov 17 and shortlisted candidates must enrol in the allotted college till Nov 23, 2024. Bokaro Steel City College, Bokaro, Jharkhand is a general degree college which is one of the premier educational institutions in the state of Jharkhand. It is a government college established in 1970. It was made into a constituent college of Ranchi University in 1978. It is currently a prestigious constituent college in Binod Bihari Mahato Koylanchal University, Dhanbad.;

- Physics Laboratory: The physics laboratory in the college is a spacious one and we are having good quality apparatus for all the experiments which are prescribed as per the university rule.
- Chemistry Laboratory: The chemistry lab in the college is a spacious, well ventilated with white walls well equipped with all the modern tools required for chemistry experiments. It is a delight to work and carry out experiments in the lab.
- Biology Laboratory: In the biology lab, the students study detailed structures, morphological, histological and physiological aspects of plants and animals. Study of slides under the microscopes or studying the museum specimens kindles a natural curiosity towards Nature and instills a joy of learning the flora & fauna around us. All the equipment and specimens that we have in the lab are open for the College students to be used under careful supervision.
- Campus Wifi: The campus is supported by round the clock Wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi) of 20 Mbps and has a strong backbone of 5 access point links throughout the campus. With this students, staff and visitors can access online information without any hassle of wires and plug-ins.
- Canteen: The objective of the Canteen and meal service is to protect by reducing the risk of food borne illness, with proper sanitary conditions and preventing adulterated food. From the very beginning of the College, the College Canteen has been functioning efficiently. The canteen is located inside the College. The hostellers and day scholars are provided meals by assuring food safety and quality.
- Medical Facility: The College has a well-equipped medical room with 2 beds. First aid facilities, a wheel chair and a blood pressure machine are available in this medical room and there is a nurse on campus to cater to students who report minor health related issues. In case of any emergency, the student is either rushed to a nearby hospital/medical center or a doctor is called immediately.

There is no any entrance exam for addmission, we got our addmission form merit and the merit was decided from the marks of 12th standard. After that I seen my name in college addmission list and I gone for counseling.

More than 60 percent from any recognised board. Chancellor portal we can find the application and apply online. Reservation was applicable for SC/ST The admission process was really good and smooth we can do it easily.

No there is not any entrance exam we give in 2022 for admission. If you get 60% in the 12th board you are eligible to get admission in any course. You just need registration to take admission and search your name in the merit list

- Teachers are not very interested in teaching anything they just take 2-3 classes in a month for formality.
- The process of admission is very hectic.
Admission:
For BSc physics, you must be a PCM student who passed class 12th with at least 45% and obtained 45% in physics. The application form is available online on the university's website. It is 100 for the application form and for admission you will be charged according to your extra subject and the number of subjects which hab practicals in them. I don't think there is any relief in the admission fee for Reservation categories but for girls, the fee is slightly less than that for Boys. The admission form and document verification process for admission are just disappointing. They call to make every student sit in a hall and then verify their documents one by one which takes a lot of time. I think if they make the verification process online it will be much better.

The college is quite good compared to others in this price range. To be eligible for this course you must clear your intermediate with at least passing marks in your specialization. The application form is easily obtained at the college office. There the clerk gives the forms easily. The application started just after the declaration of the board results. The improvement we want to see in college infrastructure is the admission process that should be made online.
