Likes

My roommates are really friendly and supportive.
The teachers are supportive and friendly with us.

Dislikes

The seniors are really bossy and shitty.
The placement is not much as for a govt college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It offers a wide range of BTech courses in various disciples. It has a high-quality faculty that is well qualified and experienced in their various fields. The members are friendly and supportive. It has a state-of-the-art infrastructure including various buildings and also various vibrant student community.

Class Size : 115Course Fees : INR 58928 per year

Internships Opportunities :

We start enrolling in internship programs as soon as we start our third year of college, and we get a lot of opportunities. We get internships in different companies where we want to start our job....

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

It is affordable to study in BIT Sindri and anyone with good grades can study here tho it depends based on courses. It includes tuition fees, student fund fees, examination fees, and other charges. It offers some concessions to some categories.

Campus Life :

It has a magnificient campus covering 400 acres of area with separate hostels. A central canteens for all the students. Tho the seniors are really bossy and shitty who sometimes helps us and are supportive but most of the times they are not good.

Hostel Facilities :

The room is like an average hostel room the roommates are good too and everyone treats us well. We are provided with a bed, a chair and a table for each person. The staff are good behaviour. The hostels are affordable and mess fees is good according to the food.

Hostel Fee : INR 230000 per year

Admission :

We give JEE mains and qualify for the cutoff for admission in BIT Sindri and then after the counselling, we get admitted. The cutoff for JEE mains is around 90 percentile we get admission after passing it.

Campus placement is decent in lower branches but quite impressive in higher branches..like in higher branches like Cse or ece we have avg around 16 to 18 lakh ann in lower it's around 9 to 10 lakh which is quite good

All you need to know about BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

The placements are declining day by day. In 2022 the average package was around 14lpa and highest was 56lpa but after that it has decreased significantly. Percentage of students have also declined . In ECE around 80% students get placed with an average package of 11lpa . Companies like Nvidia do visit the campus.

B.I.T My Home town

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is good. Approx. every student is placed. The average placement is 6 lakh. The students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement. The company visited are Tata steel, Vedanta, JSW, Tata Power, Tata Long Products, Deloitte, Sclumbereg, Amazon, Samsung, CISCO, Akash, Fiitjee, Byjus, etc. many big companies. In every company there are 5 to 6 students are placed. The placement package of Tata steel is 10 lakh, amazon is 44 lakh, etc. The percentage of students getting placements is 85 %. I want to go for teaching in Akash or Byjus, etc.

NIT JAMSHEDPUR what you learn and what you experience

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from the 3rd semester, many students got PPO offers and almost all big companies visited and there were 2-3 offers on everyone and there is 100% placement and the highest package was 35 LPA by Microsoft and the lowest was 3-4 LPA by mass recruiters like tcs and Infosys. Everyone used to work after getting placed.

An average stundet of cs

Placement Experience:

After the completion of 3 rd years, students are eligible for placement. About 10 companies came when I was there and they don't have soo many offers. The highest package of 10 lakh waa given to our best student in computer science the average package was 5-6 lakh that's the average package of most colleges here it is the same. The placements of students were quite average about 70 % cause most of the students get diverted. I planned to go in some other field apart from engineering.
