Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum and faculty members is friendly nature that help you to boost yourself. I choose diploma because I have intrest in computer learning and coding that I glad to have diploma in computer engineering that give me opportunity to ensure my future in this coding field. Diploma have five branches and the class capacity is 60 students and each subject have two faculty staff for different branches. I don't have much more idea about faculty qualification but our all faculty staff is perusing P.hd and I think the faculty qualification should be masters. Each semester is of six months and have two sessional of 15 marks and a semester exam of 60 marks. Each subject have 40 marks internal and 60 marks external. The passing percentage in each subject is 40%. If you got less than 40 you will be failed in the subject and a year have 10 theory paper and you have to clear minimum six paper to promoted in another year otherwise you will have year back and have to continue the year again.
Internships Opportunities :
Currently, we don't have intership but what I have listen to our seniors the intership is much better than other colleges, companies also pay for the intership. The role offered is factor or offical visit but they also provide their basic Excel works and data entries.
Placement Experience :
Jamia have great campus placement. Like B.tech department have 100% placement. But I know about Diploma, its elegibility criteria is you should have 7.5 cgpa to seat in campus placement and average package is 2.5 marks per year. The highest placement is 5 lakhs for a mechanical Student. Companies like Microsoft, Wipro, TCS have Campus placement for our department. Almost 40% students got placement. I also trying to do my best for the campus placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our department have three year and the fee structure is less than 10000 per year for first year and decreament of fee in further years. It provide a lot of scholarship like nsp and faculty staff also help you to find scholarship scheme. It has averay placement of 2.5 lakhs that is sufficient and much better results than our fee structure.Many Companies like Microsoft, Wipro come to our Campus for placement.
Campus Life :
Jamia is one of the best universities and it also have best culture, environment of social life and student life. It has a central library that have availability of all book and also have a lot of departmental library for the department books. Annual fest is also happen but tech fest or seminar is more famous in Jamia. It also a sport complex that provide sports like cricket, football, basketball, tennis ball, table tennis and etc. a social group run by students is Jamians in our friendzone.
Admission :
I applied for Jamia Diploma course in back 2022. The eligibility criteria of the course is that you should complete your 10th with 60% marks or you have done 12th,you should have science stream and having minimum 60% marks in board. It is a three year course that have fee structure for first year is 9370 rupees during my admission and decreament of fee in further years, currently in my second year its fee is 7370 rupees. It provide five courses i.e Computer, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil and Electrical.It provide reservation like OBC, Muslim, Muslim OBC, Muslim Women, PWD and Kashmir residence. Our faculty have one of the best teacher that focus on theory knowledge as well as practical knowledge that is very important. Our department have regular classes from Monday to Friday and 9 AM to 5 PM. I don't fell they need a kind of improvement because all basis need like washer is clean, class clean, water supply and Electricity. Our department also have placement coordinator for placement.
Interview Experience :
Yeah , Students have their group discussion in their group as well as in the class in presence of teacher. We also have session about placement, further studies and many more. We mainly prepare ourselves by group discussion and with the coordination with the faculty staff.
