Remarks :
College is good in approx all the fields. It provides a very good environment to study. The libraries are so good. It have variety if books and it's easy to issue book. Campus is so beautiful and green.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course structure is quite balanced with the theories and practicals. There's two days of practicals and labs in a week. As my course is in evening, I don't feel like hectic, it's quite relaxing to have whole day in your hand for daily life. The exams are yearly basis so I've to study approx 8-9 theory papers and 5-6 practical papers in a year.
Placement Experience :
Placement is good at my college, various companies visit for recruitment like Accenture, Byju's, Hindustan Times Digital, TCS, Adobe Systems, Indian Navy, HSBC Technology & a lot more. They provide a good stipend accordingly the course a student is doing or have done. Last year a USA company named "Frission Motor Werks" visits my college and hired a mechanical engineer at 70 lacs per annum. Faculties get us to field and companies for internship in the last year of the course and they provide approx 5-10k per month of stipend and I consider that as a good amount of internship stipend.
College Events :
There's variety of events that take place in the college. Each department has their own annual fests. In technical, there a hackathon where various students from other college can participate too and win a big amount. There's coding challenge, there's hacking challenge. Other departments have dancing and cultural fests too. They're so big, all the students do gather as audience.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
There are 2 installments in a year. 1st installment is Rs. 15000 2nd installment is Rs. 10000 Fees was submitted through online payments or offline challans and they have maintained there websites for submissions of fees and the website is very good.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There's plenty of scholarships available. There is one scholarship called "Jamia Teachers' Association" which provides upto 5k and there's other called "MOMA" which provides upto whole course fees. One can easily avail the scholarships by applying and submitting the required documents.
Campus Life :
There's approx more than 25k students. They're from different countries and are of different race, religion. There's no discrimination on the basis of anything. Everyone is so free to do whatever they want. No one will question you or oppress you. Students speak various languages. Each department have their sports team in different sports. There's even a university level team in different sports. Our university team has won national level in football, cricket, basketball, golf and other sports. Famous Indian cricketer Virendra Sehwag was from my university.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni networks and senior students do not help much. There's so less interaction between us and them. But the teachers are so helpful that we do not require any seniors' or alumni help. There's a Jamia Global Alumni Network.
Admission :
I want to choose the course chemical engineering and I got admission in government engineering college bharuch in very first round I got the admission in this college through acpc and I submit the fees
Faculty :
The faculties are well trained and most of them are having doctorate degree in their respective fields. They are very helpful, ever ready to clear doubts and to make concepts clear, they even give their free times to clear all the problems and doubts.
