Placement is good in this college. It has best placement than any other college.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not so good. There is not proper canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course is related to different fields of Civil Engineering. In first year, subjects like physics, chemistry and mathematics were also taught. I would say this is brief of btech in civil engineering. There are two exams in a semester, one is mid sem and another is end sem. There are practicals and viva also.

Class Size : 180Course Fees : INR 15000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are provided in govt department like CPWD & PWDs. Stipends are not provided as internships are provided in govt department. Internships are provided after 2nd semester and 4th semester. I also done internships from PWD Paschim Vihar and CPWD Hari Nagar.

Placement Experience :

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are several companies who came here for placement. Some of companies for civil engineering students are:- Tata Projects, Samsung ,ASC Infratech, IMC, Geotechnical etc. Average package is around 3.25LPA. About 75% students got placement and if in case you not you can try off campus. I also get selected in Tata Projects Ltd. from campus after giving a test and a interview. And my package is 3.25 LPA

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

It is a good college.It is no 1 in Asia for diploma course. Now it comes under Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University. It has good placement record. Infrastructure is not so good. Fuculties ar good in behaviour.

Campus Life :

As such festivals are not celebrated in our college. Some functions like yoga day, sports day etc are held but they are not too good. Many books are available in Library, you can issue it for studies. Classrooms are good , some classrooms also have projectors.

Admission :

I choose this college as it is best college for diploma in India. And it is not too far from my residence. It has best placement records than other colleges in Delhi. For getting admission in college, I filled the form from DSEU website as it comes under Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University, then a entrance exam is held and we get college according to rank we got.

Faculty :

Faculty is very good in nature except some. Rajan Tiwari Sir is the best in my opinion, he tries his best to make us understand the concept. There are two exams in a semester, one is mid sem and other is end sem.

Interview Experience :

I gave a test for taking admission in college. Test level is 10th class basis. Frankly speaking I don't prepare for test that much. I gave the test and I got 472 rank, which is enough to get admission in my college.

Night Life :

There are not such places near college to hangout. There are no hostels for outsiders so they have to arrange their accomodation on their own. Rajendra Place is nearest metro station to college. You can go Karol Bagh etc.

A small things for my college

Placement Experience:

In 5th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Good companies come to colleges and take interview from students and provide them jobs. Minimum 75% in all over diploma required to eligible in placement and no back in exam all over 3 years

Placement Experience:

from 5th semester placement Maruti, Tata, Ashok Leyland, Thermax and companies are visited in college and offer you a good package. The highest package is about 6 lacs per annum and the average package is 3 lacs per annum. 70 to 80 per cent of students are placed. My plan is to do the job.

The engineering life in GB pant college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it is very interesting and creative. I like to make electrical circuits and this course will give me that platform for completing my dream after 10th. All the facilities are UPSE passed or some of them were the UPSE topper of their time so overall faculty is excellent. The teaching methods are also very good with all the modern equipment like a projector etc. We have our internal sessional every month, which is not that much hard but you have to prepare for it.
