Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose computer engineering because i want to become a software engineering, and other reason is that i have very much interest in computer. There is many faculties in University Polytechnic, these are in ratio of 1:3, approx. Every faculty is very well trained and well qualified, There teaching method is very impressive and all are always ready to help students. There is one End semester exam and 2 mid semester exam or we call it sessional exams, these exams are not so hard but if not study well, so it is very hard for students.

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 9000 per year

Placement Experience :

At last year, means at 5 th semester companies comes for campus selection , many computer companies and mobiles technical companies like WIPRO, INFOSYS, SAMSUNG etc comes for campus selsection . The average package is approx 7 to 9 lack per annum and the highest is aprox 12 to 13 lack per annum

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Jamia Millia Islamia is a central university so its cost of study is much less, its fees structure is around 9000/- per year , there is many scholarship opportunity , if any student want it they can easily apply for it.

Campus Life :

In college there is a annual fest held every year in month of april , and there is a foundation day fest also which held on october every year. There is a central library in campus and it has most of the book that students desire, College provide all amenities in classrooms that a student wants .

Hostel Facilities :

Jamia's Hostel is execellent, They provide all the facilities that a student need, like a bed , study table , chair , side table , almirah etc, jamia's hostel has its own mess which provide very good quality food , it provide diffrent vegetables and diffrent food items . Jamia hostel process is a bit lengthy but easy , if a student want hostel facility, he/she can apply by filling form and submit it in provost office then a interview will held and if you get passed in the interview, you get the hostel.

Hostel Fee : INR 35000 per year

Admission :

jamia takes their own exam for diploma admission, in which if a student is 10 pass or 12 pass can apply for the entrance exam. There is no age limit. Once you cleared your entrance exam, you will get your department according to your marks .After that jamia will notify you about when your conselling will be held. Entrance cuttoff depend upon the department,as highest cuttoff is of computer and soon. Entrance exam application form, can be apply online on official website on jamia millia islamia examination "www.jmicoe.in" and application fees and application dates can also be found on the website. There is also reservation benifits like muslim and girls or PWD students, there cuttoff can be reduced from general cuttoff. I want one improvement that their conselling are very lengthy and very time taking, so i want to do their conselling online.

Pusa Institute of Technology - Best Diploma College

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are several companies who came here for placement. Some of companies for civil engineering students are:- Tata Projects, Samsung ,ASC Infratech, IMC, Geotechnical etc. Average package is around 3.25LPA. About 75% students got placement and if in case you not you can try off campus. I also get selected in Tata Projects Ltd. from campus after giving a test and a interview. And my package is 3.25 LPA

Jamia Millia Islamia is good, but do you know...?

Placement Experience:

Placement is not that good. The highest placement package was 12LPA (off campus) and 8LPA (on campus) and the average placement package is around 4LPA. But only those students are allowed to sit in placement rounds which have higher CGPA and no backs.

Review of Jamia polytechnic course

Placement Experience:

University of polytechnic has its own placement cell which offers on campus placement but the ratio is not satisfying. From 5and 6 th sem students are eligible for placements. Companies like vipro,l&t? tcs, voltas , tata motors etc visits. Average package for polytechnic is around 4 lakhs.

MY COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good for my college as it provides a better package to the students. From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Wipro and many other companies visited and offered great value. The average package was 3.2 lakh per annum. The percentage should be 80-85% for getting placements. I will go for the government exam for further study or a job after getting the degree.

The engineering life in GB pant college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it is very interesting and creative. I like to make electrical circuits and this course will give me that platform for completing my dream after 10th. All the facilities are UPSE passed or some of them were the UPSE topper of their time so overall faculty is excellent. The teaching methods are also very good with all the modern equipment like a projector etc. We have our internal sessional every month, which is not that much hard but you have to prepare for it.
