  • I don't like how the books were finished by the time i wanted to purchase them and the line for purchasing was also very long.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose BBA because firstly i opted for commerce stream in my 11th and 12th and the other reason was because of the knowledge it gives about this particular field is so immense that i just had to do it, as i was very interested in this particular field. Student:Faculty ratio is okayish not great but if we compare it with other colleges it's very high and good. All the teachers are well qualified and their teaching methods are good as well. Term Exams were held once after 2 units of syllabus were done and it was easy to pass for the students who were attending the classes.

Internships Opportunities :

I frankly don't have any idea about the internship opportunities available with my college as I am only a First Year Student. But I have heard and seen it quite often that the average package is around ?4lakh per annum. So it's less but fine i guess.

Placement Experience :

About placements of my college i don't know much because i am a first year student. But i have heard about it from my seniors and they said it's decent. There's a very high percentage of students who gets placements in our college so it is very good.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees is not so reasonable I have to say that because yearly ?80,000 is fine as the college is soo good and well maintained but the ?60,000 IP University is charging per student for the seat is a bit high according to me so it should be lower.

Campus Life :

Life at campus is so good as our campus is so big and full of students and life so it gets fun every day. Sadly there's no fest in our college so it's sad and very bad. Books availability is bad as I wanted books from book bank and they were already finished. College doesn't support any clubs or sports activities as the teachers doesn't even recognise them and give their support.

Admission :

Application process was very easy as it was online. But the exam centre was very far away from my home so it was pretty inconvenient. The application forms can be found online on the GGSIPU website easily and the dates for registration and exams are all given on there so it's pretty much simple i say. Application fees was around ?1500 and the allotment round fee was ?500 so not much according to me and you get many rounds to get the admission in your desired college so it's very good. One this they can do for student's experience and convenience is to allocate the exam centre not too far away from their home.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As my Course is a professional so the ciriculum is really good and it's based on real life as well however teaching hindi and some extra subjects which don't help us doesn't make sense to me and I believe that more focus should be given on development of communication skills.

Placement Experience:

Maharaja Surajmal Institute is value for money. Placements: Almost everybody in the BBA course were placed. The highest placement in 2024 is Rs. 7,50,000. The average package in 2024 is Rs. 3,50,000. Recruiting companies include Federal Bank, Upgrade, etc. Students who got the internship from Bachelois in Business Administration are less likely to get it, as college doesn't help. Infrastructure: The quality of infrastructure is very poor in Maharaja Surajmal Institute. The library and labs are good but the classrooms don't have ACs. The quality of food available in the canteen is average. Don't join this college if you want to excel in sports. Hostel quality is very poor too. You won't find ACs in rooms. Moreover, there are Indian toilets, which are outdated. Faculty: Few teachers are seriously irritating and focus more on attendance than the quality of their teaching. A BBA course, in my opinion, doesn't make you job-ready but gives a basic outline of the job role and responsibilities

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start the 5th semester onwards, although the package is very low given the current status of courses of BBA and BCom Hons in the country with not much scope in the market, also the amount of students getting placements is very low with some decent companies although my plans after getting a degree from here is to pursue MBA.
