Entrance Preview :

1. Ph.D. written Exam and interview conducted by IIT PATNA twice in a year 2. It offers excellent platform for research.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Gives a good exposure of latest technology. Elective subjects can be opted by students as per their interest. There are few electives like Intelligent Video Surveillance System which are offered only in IIT Patna.

Internships Opportunities :

Students do internship in organisations like DEFENCE RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT ORGANISATION (DRDO), Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) . Moreover students attend internship programs at universities like Stanford, Trinity College London, MIT and other reputed universities during summer vacation.

Placement Experience :

1. More than 80% of the students get placements through campus drives conducted by leading companies. 2. Packages range from 3 Lacks to 50 lacks p.a.

College Events :

We have our annual technical and cultural fest named Anwesha. Moreover the freshers welcoming event is called Nebulla which falls on Aug every year. We have our annual research scholars day, Reverberance (during diwali) and dantiya during dushera.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Ph.D semester fees is very low compared to other IITs. It ranges from 17,700 to 19,700 (depending on the year of admission) per semester. I think the B.tech students pay nearly 60,000 per semester.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Students avail education loan and scholarship from various places. In the case of Ph.D students, they are funded by the institute (Institure fellows) or CSIR or DST etc.

Campus Life :

Campus culture is very good. Students are enjoying this atmosphere Even though we have students from different cultural and religious backgrounds, we are living with unity. Most of the festivals are celebrated here. We are very tolerant towards people of other faith.

Hostel Facilities :

Ph.D and M.tech students get single rooms. Currently B.Tech students are sharing the room Semester fees covers hostel and mess charges. It is very cheap compared to other IITs.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

1. The seniors and Alumini help us a lot in various ways. They are friendly and also guide us in the best possible way. 2. Especially, seniors and Alumini guide us in placements.

Exam Structure :

B.tech students has to attend mid-semester as well as end-semester examinations in every semester for lab as well as theory courses. Exam schedule wont be hectic.

Faculty :

1. Friendly, well-qualified and experienced. 2. Very much interested in research and development activities. 3. Dedicated in their work 4. Motivate the weaker students to perform better.

The Best Insitute

Admission:

A student has to give a competitive test which is conducted by the university each year. 75% of seats are given on the results of these exams and the rest 25% is given on the basis All India Entrance Examination held by ICAR. The student should also have an M.sc (Ag) and the required OGPA is 7.0.

Placement Experience:

There are various interviews and placements which happen during the year. There are companies who take walk-in interviews and many students get selected in those interviews. There are many openings for us in the sector as we are trained really well by the institute.

IIT Patna has many number of canteen. Few are available for night so student can enjoy and kill his hunger even it is night. Now infrastructure is under construction that's why student have to adjust in small spaces.
