Course Curriculum Overview :

I thought Information Technology was good for placements and at that the time it was the peak course. So i chose this course. The faculty to student ratio are 10:1 and there are 10 students for every one teacher. Minimum of 5 years experience in teaching of which 2 years post PhD experience is desirable. There will be two semesters in one year and it is easy to pass in all subjects by covering all topics in each subjects. Analyze previous year papers.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 75000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Velammal conduct project expo every year and each one should participate in project expo and give prizes for top projects. Students can participate in other colleges with the help of faculty members. Students should find internships with their knowledge.

Placement Experience :

students are eligible for placements after completing 7 semesters without any arrear.The top recruting companies like CTS,Infosys,Zoho and Amazon.More than 90% placements offered in college. The highest package is 12LPA and lowest package is 1.60 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

In Velammal institute of technology, have to pay fees once in a year. Academic fees structure were Seventy Five thousand. Hostel fees were Eighty Three Thousand. I got BC scholarship in velammal for both academic and hostel. While coming to placements and got job in college.My first stipend was Twenty Thousand.

Campus Life :

Annual fest is conducted by feburary of every year and tech fest is conducted frequently like symposium, The library includes subject books and sports,jounals,story books etc. They conducted sports activities regularly and participated in other colleges. Students run Velammalian page in Facebook.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms have 4 tables,chair,cot,fan and cupboard for everyone.They provide common Television on each floor in hostel. Food is extremely good and they conduct menu meeting on every month.They provide different menu on every day. Hostel fees pay once in a year

Hostel Fee : INR 83000 per year

Admission :

My admission process was good. I got my admission through government quota. I wished to get Information Technology course and took it.In my college i had great experience in admission process. My college staffs were sitting infront of college entrance and guided me in everything and went well.

Great College to Lean Good Engineering Knowledge

Placement Experience:

From the Final year last semester, the students are eligible for campus placement. For mechanical there are a lot of core companies that come for placements. Also, even IT Companies take some of our mechanical students. The percentage of the students who get placed is 90% on average. Some of the core companies are LPT(Lakshmi Precision Tools), SAEW, NVH, PDS, S.S.FASTENERS, RENAULT NISSAN MITSUBISHI. The highest salary package offered is 5 lakhs per annum and on average is 3 lakhs per annum.

Dream to achieve big

Placement Experience:

From semester 6, they will provide campus placement offers. It depends on the students. Many companies will be visiting the college every year. Infosys, IBM, tata, reliance, and many more top companies will be visiting. We may get enormous offers from companies. The highest package is 12laks and average package is 2laks. Nearly every single student will be placed, except some slow learners and who are not mentally prepared one's. My plans after my degree are to get a deserved job and should be profitable.
