The character and mindset of the students of my batch.
Some really good and inspiring teacher who taught me to rest once in a while.

That we don't have a hostel and library.
That the fees of hostel is high and unreasonable.

Course Curriculum Overview :

All the teachers are PHD graduate and most excel at teaching students while there are some who I think are difficulty to deal with. Faculty to Student ratio is 6:120. Teachers have traditional teaching methods and exam are conducted thrice a semester after every 1.5 - 2 months.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid :

Fees structure for all students including reserved category candidates is Rs 100000 per semester and yes there is loan and financial assistance for students who can't afford the fees. On campus job offers are very rare to come.

Campus Life :

We don't have a permanent campus yet and reside inside another private college campus. We have one Sports fest conducted every year and overall the campus life is as dull as it gets without any extracurricular activities and clubs.

Admission :

I entered the college through JEE mains rank and to get into my college you will at lest need 30000 rank in JEE mains. The admission process is done by NIC which is a government agency and yes there are reservation benefits for students.

Less crowded college, but not the best college life and placements

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible in 3rd year for internships. However there are not much internship opportunity in the college. Only about 20-30 student get an internship on campus. Average stipend is around 20k.some companies visited are hero, Oyo rooms, mygate, service now etc. average package is around 8.5 lakhs and highest is 36Lakhs. My plans after degree is do to a start-up

In btech after 6th sem you are eligible for campus placements which means just in the start of your last year you are eligible. Not so many companies come here there are a few the highest package offered till now is 15 lpa. Only 55 to 60% students are placed

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I knew a few people in the same course and they liked it and it aligned with my future plans as well. The course curriculum is shifting more towards placement oriented study and focusing more on increasing the placement statistics of the college. The area for improvement is focusing more on problem solving than cramming the theory to get good grades. There are exams every 2 months and the end semester exams are quite hard to crack if not prepared well and they cover up 35% of the total weightage.
