Join in nit Rourkela will be the best choice ever made .i thought to choose cse in nit Rourkela but due to low rank i didn't got so I was through to take cse in kiit but still I take civil in nit Rourkela because I heard good infrastructure about

No one literally no one believe that nit r is such an awestrucking place, without themselves coming to this wonderland ,worth mentioning it's better than any many itts and almost all nits,still it is one of the unsung institute of India . sometimes

Course Curriculum Overview :

I set a goal for myself to obtain and I can go for higher degrees of education in civil engineering. the number of students attending University is larger than the number of teachers in the institution. The teachers are really good and also the teachers are really qualified.

Class Size : 90Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Every year nit Rourkela offers 50 paid internship to students and overall internship facilities is quite good in nit Rourkela. the internship period will be for 2 months. usually, the internships are offered during summer.

Placement Experience :

Nit Rourkela's placement season saw a record-high average of 12.95 lakhs CTC and the highest package being 53.9 lakhs per annum. a total of 1,534 offers were made by 330 companies and 24 students received offers of over 50 lakhs package.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Nit Rourkela offers btech as its flagship program where the first-year fee is 1.78 lakhs. the total 4th-year fee for nit Rourkela is about the amount is nearly 8.50 lakhs. campus placement is quite good.

Campus Life :

Nit Rourkela has a Massive and beautiful campus with a plethora of facilities like a swimming pool, night canteen, day canteen, playground, baskets, etc. technical society is one of the most active societies in the student activity center and overall infrastructure is quite amazing in nit Rourkela.

Admission :

Nit admission generally begins after the declaration of the final phase of jee main result. Admission process is quite comfortable and fair manner. To get NIT students have to qualify for the jee mains after qualifying the jee has to apply for jossa to get admission.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

Reality of GIFT college

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.
