Course Curriculum Overview :

Since it is a separate university, we have a different curriculum than other colleges of Mumbai University. It is almost similar but has small differences. Our faculty members are very supportive and helpful. There is a 75% compulsory attendance rule. All the faculty members are well qualified for their roles. Teaching methods are a combination of old-school and modern Technology. There are 2 unit tests each semester and a final sem exam. These exams are perfectly designed to map a student's understanding of the subject.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 146000 per year

Placement Experience :

Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. Many top MNCs visit us for placements. Students are also supported for entrepreneurship and further studies in foreign universities. The ratio of Students getting placed is quite good.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The annual fee is 146000. The fees of this college are one of the lowest of all the colleges in the city. There are various scholarship opportunities, some government ones and some private ones. This information is provided on the website as well.

Campus Life :

The biggest fest of UMIT 'Arcane Illusions' takes place every year in the month of March. It is conducted by the student council of the college with great enthusiasm and participation from students all over the university. We have a college library which provides reference books on all subjects and a uni library which has all kinds of books available. There are various technical and non-technical councils that conduct various events each year and also industrial visits to many different places which is honestly so much fun.

Admission :

Admissions took place on the basis of scores of the CET state entrance exam. I was admitted by the govt. CAP process. There are reservation benefits for students with low income. The information for these benefits is provided on the website or in the office.

Pretty normal college with good facilities and amenities

Course Curriculum Overview:

As every Diploma passing student enters to degree college same process I went through. The faculty of the college are well educated and hardworking. As a student, you have to reach out to your faculty and maintain a good relation with them to get constant support from them. the ratio is 25:1. The teaching method of professors is very professional. Exams are as per the government regulations and the difficulty level is moderate for general students.

The placement process is average to good . The process starts at the end of your 3rd year and continues for the first half of the 4th year . Students are encouraged to take internships from the moment they are confident and can handle responsibility. They are eligible for placements after semester 4. Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students can be placed in various companies. The companies like Barclays, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Flipkart, Microsoft etc. And many offers were made. The highest offer is 100000 and average is 25000 for freshers. Placement percent is 90%. My plan is to do a Masters from abroad.

Remarks:

The college Bajaj Institute of Technology, Wardha is very reputed college as it is Shiksha Mandal's college. I saw many advertisement about this college throughout the year and that's why choose to take admission in it.

Placement Experience:

Till now no company has visited. 2 students are selected and that is with their own efforts. Not having any job referral because hardly few students are placed. In startup one group won the hackathon and I guess they are doing their startup thing
