Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen the course because it was my passion to serve for democracy being the fourth pillar of it. There were 4 faculty members in total and 40 students. The faculty members came from different universities. Our HOD Dr Mausumi Bhattacharya has completed her Post Doctoral fellowship from ICSSR. The exams were held twice a year based on the semester system. They were quite moderate.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost was around 50k. As it is a Central University the cost was less for carrying out this course. They provided financial assistance to the EWS,SC,ST, and OBC students and provided scholarships to students based on their merits.
Campus Life
Life on campus was nice. The campus was surrounded by green trees and it was spread along 300 acres of land there were anti-ragging cells. There's a Central library from which the students can access books where there's a large stock of journals and books.
Admission
Bachelors from arts background, Firstly we have to apply for their admission test. The admission test was completely based upon the Journalism and mass communication syllabus. After that based on the admission test, the merit list was published. After that, they called for PI and carried out the selection process based on that.
