Likes

The teachers are very helpful to students.
In other colleges there are various unit lobbies, results into fights. But in our college there is a single student union.. who have a strong bonding and unity among the students.
The fests freshers and various other programs are well known. All passout students are also invited in these programs

Dislikes

There should be more maintenance in the toilets
Men's day should be celebrated just like women's day
Excursions should be present for commerce department also

I chose this course because of my commerce background and knowledge in accounts field. In heramba Chandra College, girls:boys Ratio is around 5:6. Maximum faculties teaching in heramba Chandra College have either PhD degree or a CA or CMA degree. Few of the teachers have also published their own books. In heramba Chandra College exams are the one thing that always happen as scheduled..

Internships Opportunities

Various internship companies like IPAC, And other Few NGOs also came to heramba chandra college for hiring interns The steipend is around 10000 for a single intern. The workload of a intern is actually pretty heavy.

Placement Experience

After passing sem 4 exams , various companies come with placement opportunities. Based on interview of the IT companies around 25% students get the job. But the banking sector provides employment to around 40% students applied for the interview. There are also internship opportunities, various companies approach our college to gather students for a internship program, then select a certain number of shortlisted students.

Fees and Financial Aid

In a year around rs7000 is required as fees of the course. Swami Vivekananda scholarship is also available for the students. Various companies like ICICI, TCS, ITC, WIPRO came for placement. There is no hike in college fees. It remains constant around rupees 7000

Campus Life

Life in heramba Chandra College is like a golden opportunity.. here various clubs like drama club, sports club, management club, dance club, and various bands are also present. The social life of the students of heramba Chandra College is on another level.. we all study and also have something amazing to do along. Various tournament also occurs in our college. All the classrooms have smart board. The library is maintained upto date. All types of study books are available there

Admission

Around 8000 students applied for bcom hons in heramba Chandra College. In our year the cutoff percentage was 84% for general 64%for SC St obc. The admission process went well. After providing merit list, within 1-2 days admission processes are carried out. In heramba Chandra College, sports quota is also available.

Placement Experience:

BESC has enjoyed an extremely high placement record. The Placement Cell draws 35 to 40 companies including the likes of TCS, EY, PWC, Deloitte, Oracle, Axis Bank, KPMG and Indigo to name a few. Eligible from 1 st sem students on wards Avg package - 4lpa highest is 16lpa After getting this degree i am thinking of pursuing mba anf then getting into business

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement in the last year which is 7th and 8 semester one can apply for internship or job from 7th and 8th semester. The highest package offered was of 11 lakh so far. And the average package is 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Like most of the Goenkans I am also thinking of pursuing CA as a profession but for now I am focusing on my BCom degree and after my BCom degree I will complete my MBA from a good reputed college.

It is a 4 year programme which offers placements. But if someone doesn't get direct placement they are still skilled enough to get a job off campus and it can go from 6 LPA to 12 LPA. If the performance is very poor they can't go to the 4th year.

I choose B.Com Hons as my subject because I want to pursue MBA in my future.The faculty of this college is amazing.They are all very helpful.Total no. of students for this course currently is 800 something and each sector has 120 students.The teachers use projectors to make us understand the concept clearly.Sem exams occur every six months and if you study properly you will score good marks for sure

Do Right Things Now For Your Future

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Out of the companies some of them are Institute of Charter Accountancy, Institute of GST ETC. They give us some packages for jobs. Like the highest package is about 50000 rupees and the lowest is 15000 rupees. Only few studets get chance in this companies. Like 5-10% students. I want to be a bank manager so i just keep my study moving on.
