- The quality of education is one of the I like the most. Things were explained in a good manner for me to understand it better.
- The computer labs were my favorite place to be in as it was very well made and maintained providing you comfortable sitting with cushioned chairs and ACs all around. My teacher always made the lab classes one of the most interesting class.
Dislikes
- no sports ground was one of the disappointing things as you will have to travel to another college sports complex for sports activities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as I wanted to pursue a career in the banking and finance sector. The faculty-student ratio is good. There are 60 students in one batch and there are overall two batches. The faculty ratio is equally impressive as there would be new teachers every semester who have specializations in that particular subject. There are a few subject experts as well who would be teaching you in more than one semester. The faculty is well Qualified most of them having completed masters and done specializations in their respective subjects. The term Exams take place once every semester which is mostly after 3 to 4 months and it is not quite difficult as a student doing thorough revisions of the important topics as well as previous year question papers makes it relatively easy for students to prepare for exams.
Placement Experience :
Students from 5th semester onwards are eligible for Campus placements. Deloitte, Wipro Ltd., PWC, Infosys, TCS, HDFC Bank, Amazon, SAP labs, Natwest Group, JLL, etc. are some of the big names giving placements. I have no such accurate data on the number of offers made by each of them. 90% or more students get placements. My plan is to do a master's after getting the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The fee structure remains the same over the course of three years. There is not such a fee hike just a little tweak of 1000 or sometimes the fees are reduced as well. There is no such opportunity for scholarship or financial assistance but there are campus jobs and almost every student does get placed in the college as it has maintained over 90% success in campus placements.
Campus Life :
There is no such annual fest but there is a Christmas fest every year on 24th December. And there are various other Tech fests organised as well but the duration changes every year. In my time at the college finance society organized seminars and fests in the month of June. Also, there is a Diwali fest every year in the college one day before Diwali which is mostly in October. there is a very big library consisting of more than 1000 books which you can get yourself issued by showing them your ID- Card. There is also some in-house publications like magazines and journal. Amenities in the classroom are - blackboard, smartboard, 2 ACs, 3 seats bench with table, windows, and good Atmosphere for no noise coming from outside. The college does not have its own sports ground but does have different sports teams. There are various groups and societies that one can join to enjoy extra-curricular activities. Finshark and marketing maestros are a few groups for example.
Admission :
The eligibility of the course was 50% or more in 12th standard with commerce or science as your background. Then take the Entrance exam Conducted by the university. As this is one the best colleges the cut-off is also high for example if 10,000 Students have taken the entrance exam your rank should be around 1500 to 3000 for getting admission to this college. The application form is available on the university website, The application fee was around 1000 and it happened in the month of September. so usually the entrance exam takes place in the months of July to September. There are reservation benefits available to sc,st, and obc candidates As I was a general candidate no reservation benefit was available for me. For reserved candidates, there are some concessions in the cut-off. I didn't see any need for improvement till now as the admission process was smooth and simple.
