Course Curriculum Overview :
I like this course because I love to learn about circuits and electrical devices. Faculty members are like the gem they understand the student's mentality and adapt their teaching method in favour of students, there is a nice connection between the faculty and the students. Most of the faculty members are holding doctorate certificates and are highly skilled and extremely talented and the teaching aids they use are very innovative and interesting for the students. Monthly wise they conduct the formative assessment test and it is taken as an internal mark for the students. It is easy to pass the test if we listen to the lectures and if we didn't listen it is a bit tough job to clear the exams.
Internships Opportunities :
HCl is one of the companies that offer internship opportunities for students in the third year itself and the package they provide is also workable. Project submission is one of mandatory for the students before the completion of the year.
Placement Experience :
From the 6th semester onwards students are eligible to avail of placements and suitable placement training is also conducted for them by the college. Many MMC companies are tied up with our college and Amazon Google and other top IT companies are also taking students from our college. Students are placed in the high package of 12 lakhs per annum and a minimum of 5 lakhs per annum. About 90 per cent of students are placed in companies each year. After getting my degree I'm trying to place in a good job with a good package.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees are a bit high in our college but it is worth for money too, here they give a lot of infrastructure and provide many opportunities for placements. Scholarships are also provided by them and it is very helpful for the students who are economically poor. Merit cum means scholarship, economic mean scholarship and management scholarships are also provided by them in the college. Placement is very good in our college and mostly many of the students were placed in a high package and minimum package is 5lakh per annum.
Campus Life :
Annual fests are conducted in the college and many tech fests are also done in the college and many workshops are also conducted. Svce has one of the largest libraries in our surroundings and it has many journals and tons of books which is very helpful for the students for their academics. Svce sports club is very successful since the early stages of the college and they provide a lot of games in the college and they give equal importance to all the sports and students are actively participating in the sports and achieving pride. Svce student council science club and many forums are available to enrich the skills of the students in all fields.
Admission :
The eligibility of the course is to complete the 12th standard in computer science or bio maths group. Want to get a minimum cutoff of 180 to opt for this course. Tamil Nadu Engineering counselling is the best way to get into the college and there we can find the application form and procedure to place the application. The application process has some bugs in the online websites it must be rectified and once it is rectified it is very easy to do the admission process.
