MIT- know it all

Dislikes

  • You can get easily get distracted by the rich social life , but that's something which comes under the responsibility of an individual

Course Curriculum Overview :

I really liked the minor of my course, i.e., AI and ML. That pushed me to opt for this course. The faculty is well-experienced, and the labs are well-equipped. We have midterms, practicals, and the end terms from the month of Nov-Dec and then again in April-May.

Internships Opportunities :

I'm in my second year I have no experience regarding placements as of now. But what I've been hearing is that my course ECE has a good placement record, thanks to the strict faculty who try their best to polish a student in every aspect.

Placement Experience :

Placement is good, I'm in my second year so I don't have a good grasp on this but the avg package is 7 lakhs. The highest last year was 44lakhs, Companies visiting our campus are Microsoft, TCS, Accenture, Google, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The fees are a bit hefty, and few things like lab coats, and practical manuals which I expect the college to provide are not given even after the high fees. There are many scholarships in exams like JEE, CET.

Campus Life :

One of the best things about my college is the exposure. The social life is amazing and the college tries its best to provide the best environment for a student's growth in all areas. The classrooms are well equipped, the new design building is excellent in every aspect. Many awesome clubs to choose from, build racing cars, telescopes, Hackathons, Google developers club, you name it. Summit is a national-level sports event held by our college.

Admission :

The admission was either through exams like JEE, CET, or the college entrance exam itself. My admission was through the latter. Different courses had different criteria. The course I wanted (CSE) had criteria of 180/200 marks. I scored 150 and I got ECE(AI & ML). No improvement is needed.

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course Structure at SLRTCE is well structured and covering core electronics and computer science concepts, but it could include more industry oriented skills and emerging technology. It provides good foundation for real world applications and higher studies exams held twice per semester and updates to the curriculum and interactive teaching methods would further improve it's relevance and effectiveness.

Campus placement are good but you should be skilled in your domain. Opportunity are provided to everyone. If not placed off campus is also good to go. But extra effort you have to put in there to get placed.
