MMCOE College Campus Review

Dislikes

  • Limited scholarships is one thing I dislike as I am a general category students I dont get any scholarships as such.
  • The Girls to boys ratio could be better or balanced as In my class of 75 the number of girls are 20-30 which is kind of less according to me.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I would rate it around 5 because the relevance is slightly less as the topics covered in the curriculum are old according to current industry standards. The concepts as well as teh topics that must be taught as well be useful are not included int he curriculum.I woukd call it a bit outdated.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships opportunities provided by my college have been quite diverse and beneficial, particularly for students looking to gain hands-on experience and industry exposure. Some of the companies that visited our colllge are Mahindra, Cod-Soft, Code-vita, Intern-PE, etc.

Placement Experience :

The placements provided in my college are pretty descent. Companies like Accenture, Wipro, Cape-Gemini, TCS ,etc visit our college for placements. The pre-placements guidanceIS very well provided in our college campus itself.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The fee structure for the prgram is set at Rs.100000 per year. This means that over the course of the prgram , depending on it sduration, the total fees will be calculated based on this annual amount. In my cas it would be around 400000. One of the reassuring aspects of this program is that the fee structure remainsn stable and does not increase annualy. Regarding scholarships, there are plenty of provisions to support students from specific categories. Scholarships are available for those who fall under reserved categories such as OBC,SC,ST, etc. These scholarships are aimed at ensuring that students from these backgrounds have access to quality education as well.

Campus Life :

My overall experince with campus life has been a blend of academic rigor, engaging social interactions, adn meaningful involvemnet in extracurricular activities. One of the highlights of my college life has been my involvement in clubs like Achilles and Zentih Astronomy Club. Being part of these clubs not only honed my leadership skills biut also helped me in creating connections with like-minded peers.

Admission :

I had comparitively less marks in state CET exam due to which getting Computer branch was difficult in any good college in Pune. But I still remember putting colleges like PCCOE,PICT,COEP,VIIT ,etc.At last even after not getting desired college I went for ACAP round where I personally went into some colleges to fill their ACAP form. WhereI filled MMCOE's form and was called for their ACAP round where I got a seat due to my good JEE score.

Faculty :

The college maintains a balanced faculty-to-student ratio, generally around 1:15 or 1:20. This ensures that students have adeqaute accesss to professors for guidance and support. The Faculty members are quite approchable, especially if you show initiative and genuine interest in the subject matter. One of the proffesors I admire is Dr.Sonali Madam, she was our Maths teacher in our 1st year. She was very strict but also very good at teaching also good with students basically she was very cool as well jolly with the students she knew very well. The course structure is generally well-oragnised, with a good balance between theory as well as practical. The curriculum covers subjects like Computer Networks, AI,ML, Database management.Web Development, etc. The marking scheme is out of 100 out of which 30 is from mid-sem exams and the rest from end-sem exams and internal marks.

Night Life :

Nightlife around the college campus can be surprisingly vibrant, considering that day is often packed with classes, assignments, and club-activities.One of the best things around our campus, especially near the Cummins college, is the abundance of food corners and small eateries that stay open late. The college and hostel in timigs are almost the same as the hostel is within the campus which is around 5am in the morning and 10 or 11pm in the night.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course Structure at SLRTCE is well structured and covering core electronics and computer science concepts, but it could include more industry oriented skills and emerging technology. It provides good foundation for real world applications and higher studies exams held twice per semester and updates to the curriculum and interactive teaching methods would further improve it's relevance and effectiveness.

I choose this course because I have interest in that particular field and I like to do that course related experiments . The Indian government should develop many companies for ENTC students so that they can get placed at large number.

Campus placement are good but you should be skilled in your domain. Opportunity are provided to everyone. If not placed off campus is also good to go. But extra effort you have to put in there to get placed.
