Course Curriculum Overview :
I am interested in marketing, and that's why I chose PGDM marketing. The faculty-student ratio is 50:1 mostly. Every faculty is well-qualified and holds a PhD. Their teaching method is student-friendly and they provide real-life examples. The exams are always on time and easy to pass with due preparation.
Internships Opportunities :
There are ample internship opportunities available. There is something for every student. Companies from different sectors come for recruitment. The average stipend last year was Rs.1,05,000. Different roles are offered as well.
Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements after 4th term. Many bag PPOs as well. Last year, there were around 200 companies which visited the campus. The highest package was 65 lacs INR and the average was Rs.17,35,000. There are 100% placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fee for two years is Rs.19,53,000. There is no fee hike in the last two years. There is financial aid available to economically weaker students and they get 100% off on tuition fees. There is a mandatory 25% fee waiver for every female candidate.
Campus Life :
The campus life is awesome. There are many fests held, one such fest is Milaap. The library is big in size and has many books. The classroom is equipped with AC, Fan, Light, Projector, Tables and chairs. There is a sports committee as well. Almost every game is played on the campus. The foundation for change is the club run by students. There are many other clubs too.
Hostel Facilities :
Every room is equipped with a table chair, fan, light, bed and AC and it is on twin sharing basis. The meal quality is very good and the menu is also good. Registration for a hostel is done offline on the campus itself on the of registration.
Admission :
Minimum eligibility was a graduation with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognised university in India. There are 4 campuses of IMT and a common application form is available on the website for Rs.2500. The admission process was quick and smooth.
Interview Experience :
There was a written test and personal interview which was conducted online. No group discussion was held due to covid. The topics were artificial intelligence and the pros and cons of social media. I prepared for the above by reading newspapers, articles and journals.
