The college is a very esteemed college with the best patient inflow in Karnataka. The factory is good, there's are students from all over the country, and the staff teaches really well. The only you negative point I would say is the low stipend and abse

-NITTE pg entrance exam (NUPGET) - score : 148 out of 200 - I chose this college for its excellent faculty and overwhelming patient inflow.

The college offers a variety of research options through ICMR projects and NITTE researches. They even find the research conducted by the students. The course structure is very very good with a well functioning and diverse faculty plus the post grads in each department are at least 6 per year thus you can make out the amount of patient opd every day. Some of the staffs here are nation wide famous and some of the best dentists in the country.

The stipend offered is 4000 as of now for the post grads as well as the Interns. But talks are in process for a hike in the stipend.

As I said it is a well reputed college, the students have an upper hand finding jobs in hospitals or private clinics because of the college name. A. B. Shetty Dental college has been awarded as the most 'PRO ACTIVE DENTAL COLLEGE IN INDIA' earlier this year. It also ranks 6th among the private dental colleges in the country.

Mess food- 8/10 Hostels - 9/10 The mess has a variety of foods both non veg and veg 7 days a week. The fees is 36000 per year for twin sharing non ac. rooms Accommodation for over 60 post grad students. Whereas for undergraduates. The hostel has accommodation for over 800 students.

Campus life : not very good. No campus as such. Gender ratio- male : Female :: 1:2 Extra curricular activities - yes Cultural societies : fully functional and very active. Sports: only cricket teams Annual day is there where a lot of sports and cultural activities take place

Alumni page is there on Facebook and they pay regular visits to the college for encouraging the young doctors.
