Course Curriculum Overview :
This is one of the best and most renowned PGDM Marketing courses in India. The faculty is amazing and industry acclaimed in their own domain. Term exams are very timely , but they can be managed provided someone studies throughout the term.
Internships Opportunities :
There is 100% sunmer internships with various roles offeref across the batch. Prominent companies of every domain visit. The highest stipend reached as high as Rs 200,000 for two months and the average is around 40-60k
Placement Experience :
The college offers SIPs and final placements. Students in term 5 are eligible for final placements. Last year 100% of students were placed. The highest offer was of 65lpa and the average was around 17lpa. The placements offered are great and I plan on working in the corporate world after my degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is only Rs19,53,000 and it is one of the more affordable options given the hike in fees seen in other colleges. Scholarships are available for female candidates with a 25% tuition fee waiver. There is also another scholarship for people from EWS.
Campus Life :
Life at IMT is amazing. You forge friendships that last a lifetime. The infrastructure is the best in North India. The library is well stocked, classrooms have projectors and are air-conditioned. There's a football ground, a volleyball ground, basketball courts, lawn tennis ground, and an indoor games room with TT boards and a gym.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel accomodation is compulsory for everyone and hostel fees is included in the total fees. The mess food is good when compared to other mess food, but lacks variety. First year boys stay in CDL. Girls stay on campus and have different hostel blocks. In second year everyone stays on campus.
Admission :
Admission is on the basis of CAT and XAT. The cutoff for core and marketing is around 92 percentile. The college also has profile based calls for Students with exceptional profile. Applications are open on the college website after CAT registration starts. The applications also reopen after CAT during the month of January. There are no reserved seats.
Interview Experience :
There is a WAT where you have to take your side on a given problem and discuss why you are for or against it. The WAT is followed by a rigorous PI. The best way to prepare would be to brush up on academics and for someone with workex to have detailed technical knowledge about their job.
