Staffs teaching is very good they handle every students and observe every student talent and they will give importance to every student
Library vels library is very big library has thousands of books and atomsphere is very clean

Course Curriculum Overview :

Mechanical engineering course has job scope in future nowadays ai was doing every work only mechanical jobs that cannot be done by ai so that's why I chose this In the mechanical department Vels University there are 80 students divided into 2 classes sections a and b The faculty was very friendly types their teaching was very good it is easy to get past in vels University because the staff will help to study preparation for the exam

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Amazon, Zoho Flipkart Hyundai taking embassy vels film industry. Tidel park shipyard bapco quecon has many tie-ups with foreign countries 90 percent of students placed per year in these companies

Placement Experience :

Every year starting they hire extra staff for placement training from Smart it is very useful for every student and at the end of the year students very placed in multinational companies like Hyundai Amazon Zoho

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

45k per semester and 90k per annum in my batch starting o admin in vels University they conduct an exam for scholarship if you get a pass in that exam then you have a free course in this college and the first graduate is also get the benefit

Campus Life :

The college will conduct a function vels nakshatra every year and they will celebrate Pongal also in nakshatra function they will give importance to extracurricular activities and they will attend every sport

Hostel Facilities :

Every lab has an air conditioner and library also there 3 canteens inside the campus in every classroom there are 6 fans 6 washrooms in a floor and auto water is also available Pg are in Pallavaram there is a stage called vels arangam which is located in Vels University near that college there are 5 pg hostels rvs rvs hostel is near the gate Wow and Pearl and Sara's hostels is also located near the college but not very close

Hostel Fee : INR 80000 per year

Admission :

You Should pass with good marks on the 10th & 12th You can Go directly to the main office which is located at Vels University Pallavaram have your tc mark sheet and 5 photos of Yourself and 25k rps for your registration fees no improvement is needed.

Placement Experience:

From 5th senester students are eleigible for the placements. So your 5th semester cgpa is very important. This college provide placements from companies like zoho, accenture, tcs , hexaware, mitsogo and more. The highest package is 12Lakhs and lowest package us 3lakhs.60 percentage of students are getting placed each year. Its fully depend on your skills. My plan is to place in campus placements for a web developer role.

Panimalar : A paradise For The Learners

Placement Experience:

The students get eligible fro the placements and attends interviews from the sixth semester. And the college starts to provide special placeement training from the end of the sixth semester. Even I'm still not eligible to attend the college placements, I hear a lot from my seniors about the placements. From those informations, some of the major and high paying companies like Accenture, Infosys, Sutherland often approach college for the placement. I have no knowledge about the highest package but average package could be ranging from 5,00,000 to 6,00,000 LPA. The highest number of students that are getting placed are from Dept. of AI&DS. With overall count of students attending more than 50% students passes the aptitude and reasoning test round, 15% of students passes the Group Discussion round, and only 5-6% students passes the HR round and getting placed. I personally started to hate these 9-5 jobs after hearing from the seniors who got placed in so called "best IT companies". So, my short term plan is to get placed in a high paying IT company and work till i get fired by any means. My major and long term plan is to start a business with all the savings that I've saved from my job.
