Hello this is Dr Arshad Attar graduate student from MGM University 2016.

Overall this is good college as exposure of patients is more as compare to other medical colleges in Mangalore. One thing about this college is liked is that it invested its capital for the betterment of patients and also students for example by introducing simulation laboratory which is one of the largest one in whole Asia it's very useful for all students. Currently doing M. S orthopedics in Benaroya medical college.

I had given the entrance exam of yenepoya medical college in which I had rank 17. There was online process for admission wherein we had to choose our branch of interest and then they will allocate u the branch as per your rank. I had liking for this field and it is more interesting branch so I chose orthopedics branch.

It's more systematic course which has been designed for three years u have to be good in both theoretical and practical. Yes our institute conducts practical presentation where we are taught how to clinically examine the patient and come to the diagnosis. We are encouraged to take part in national and international conferences where we present scientific papers and posters related to our branch.

I have completed my undergraduate in MGM medical college, Navi Mumbai where I had done my internship. I had good exposure at that time to all kinds of departments and work too. I had learned many practical things. Stipend for an intern was 3000 Rs.

As I am medical student we don't have placement scenario.

As I was busy in our schedule we dint had any opportunity to attend cultural fests which was conducted by our undergraduate of our college

My fees are 2000000 per year which total comes for 6000000 for three years course, which is tuition fee and mess and accommodation charges are not included in above mentioned fees. I haven't paid anything extra.

No I dint had any scholarship. Nor our college provides.

Our colleges has good indoor sports stadium facilities which has basketball and two badminton courts. As I have interest in sports I use to get an hour time every evening for playing badminton but it wasn't a daily, but once in three days.

Yes I stayed in hostel. Hostel facilities are pretty decent. Rooms are spacious they have provision for single occupancy and double occupancy. I had double occupancy with surgery PG as my roommate. Fees were 160000 per year including mess charges. Food was good and hygienic.

No I dint nt had any interaction with alumni

Interdeparmental exams are been conducted every 4 months with practical exam conducted once a year. No we weren't tired.

Faculty of my branch is very good they have depth of knowledge. We have one teacher who has himself published a textbook. Teachers are good at surgeries also teaching us more practical aspects of the subjects.
