Internships Opportunities :

Internship is available here easily at core especially mechanics chemical civil electrical at SAIL and other PSUs . for cs and ece it is easy as they are the cream of cream , google summer of code etc everything is here ! U get projects in 4th year maybe of 8 credit!

Placement Experience :

More than 900+ companies come students get eligible after 6th sem , biggies like Microsoft ,apple, Samsung , ey , delloite, google , snapdragon etc etc. , around 95% students get placed who get eligible for placement. My plan is if I get a good placement then OK or CAT ..MBA

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees hikes are majorly due to mess related issues . When I joined mess fees was 17500/sem Hostel fees 5500/sem Mess prices were increased a bit a suppose now Overall fees is nearly 99000 for 6 sems and 124000 for 2 sems

Campus Life :

Annual fests are cosmopolitan the cultural fest , Nitrutsav , Vriddhi - the sports fed and tech fest is innovision all are the biggest and best in east india,As said by college . Sports complex is present , Olympic size swimming pool , central gym , more than 99 active clubs under SAC- NITR . Extracurricular and club culture is best amongst all of India !

Hostel Facilities :

Sometimes meal is OK OK and sometimes bad , for non veg people its great. For veg people like me there are problems ! Overall very affordable mess and hostel & overall fee . Registration through josaa and csab .

Hostel Fee : INR 11000 per year

Admission :

I was so excited after clearing JEE , using other state gender neutral category I got b.tech civil eng in NITR in round 2 of CSAB , I also got AIR 17351 in JEE adv (but as gen category you got only jee mains option then) . The campus is beautiful , hostels are below avg , placement is good if you are good in academics and maintain CG and if in non core good in coding also . The club culture is the best in all of India and fests are lit ! Overall life is fun but extremely competitive here cause everyone is best here u have to be good > better and eventually best ! And bestest amongst all!

Review regarding Nalanda Institute of Technology(NIT), Bhubaneswar

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

According to seniors , placements are good and decent comparing to other nits . After 6 semester , company are hiring for placements . Many companies has visited more than enough . Highest package I seen in 23 is 1.12 CR in rubrik from senior . My plans after degree is doing sde job at company.

Reality of GIFT college

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Placement Experience:

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.
