Course Curriculum Overview :

It's my dream to pursue an MBA degree. I had a passion for management studies and learn how to grow the business. The college has a Maximum capacity of 120 students and 8 staff faculty members. Excellent and skilled full faculty members, every faculty having a minimum industry experience and also Holding a Ph.D. degree and also teaching experience. Teachers teach real-time examples and theory papers to work out the problem to understand the level of the taught process.

Internships Opportunities :

More evenly with Marketing Companies and startups. I went to NCR corporation in Chennai. It is an ATM assembly line company. There is no stipend in this company. Marketing companies will give them a stipend of up to 6k per month. Internships are like the 1-month mini project we all need to absorb the company's process and adapt to learn the organization's culture and environment.

Placement Experience :

In the 3rd semester itself, they are eligible for campus interviews. Here a list of companies is CUB, PNB Paribas, Zebu, Flintobox, Dmart, Durofit, Ford, etc. The highest packages up to 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annum depending upon the candidate's performance in the interview and the placements based upon the company's performance it will be decided. Almost 80% will place in the placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Regarding the fee structure - it's quite high. MBA is a two-year program that offers 2 specializations. Gnana School of Business is a two-year fully residential program. There are no days scholar only hostlers. They charge over 4 lakhs for 2 year MBA program but it's totally worth spending the time with great faculty coordinators.

Campus Life :

Every year of February we conduct the Bizlaureate - it's an annual college competition where other college students can participate. Every year of October we conduct Euphoria it's like a dance competition between two teams of college students. Books related to Management studies and greatest author books and books related to Exams and weekly journals and story books are available.

Admission :

A student must be completed a UG degree in any college or University. In order to get the application form, you have to visit the college for the application. They Administration coordinator will explain the college details like admission, courses, placement, etc. Once all is done they will issue the application form to fill out., For the Reservation Benefit, a student must attend the internal counseling conducted in the college if the student possesses the criteria the quota will be applicable. They doing good with the improvements.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are handled by the Placement team of our college. More than 100 companies visit the campus for placements. Due to the rules of the placement team, the companies that visit the campus cannot be disclosed. The average stipend for summer internships is usually around 70-80k per month and the average package for the final placements is around 17 lakhs. The placements in the college are decent enough.

Placement Experience:

For the summer internships, certain big names come after the second month of starting college whereas the majority typically come around the second term which is from October to December. On account of Covid-19, the level of placement has come down drastically with most of the companies being startups. As far as final placements are concerned, there is a lot of scope for finance and moderate expectations for marketing and little to slim for operation roles. The placement percentage always becomes 95 or 100% either by forcefully putting students in irrelevant job roles or making them withdraw from the process.

Remarks:

The only problem in this college is the infrastructure. Most of the buildings are very old and especially our department building is quite old and prone to leakage during rain. Other than that the college is quite good and well equipped with a big library and wifi facilities are also provided.

Remarks:

Overall the College is a good college. But there are too many levels of hierarchy. We never really know who is the main head of the institution because there are so many people like Principal, Chairman, Director, Coordinator etc. The university the college is affiliated under is not good. Anna University is keen on looting student's money.
