The curriculum meets the current industry standards. Helps a student from a NET exam point of view. The faculty is very good. The professors are experienced veterans of their fields. The exams are held on time.

Class Size: 54Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

It costs around 30000 INR for a Bachelor of Arts in English from St. Xavier's College Ranchi. There are various scholarships that the students can avail of, and they get a timely stipend as well. Professors and staff members are always eager to guide the students.

Campus Life

The college has a great campus life. There are multiple cafés where you can eat. There is a football ground and two basketball courts. Saint Xavier's College Ranchi has an annual three-day fest called Xavier Utsav.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to become a teacher so I chose this course . I will get graduated as well as get teacher training simultaneously. I will save 1 year in this integrated course. The curriculum is well prepared and gives us all the skills and knowledge required to become a good teacher. Exam happens every 6 months and difficulty is not too high . We can easily score good marks if we give 1-2 hours daily .

So When I was in twelfth class , I think I should choose history hons. becaus I want time for my side study so i chose this Here, in my university the faculties teach well. And in every university the study are not as good as the study and teachers in school, students should work for themselves and should not totally depends on university and study, they should work other curriculum activities. So my university timing for UG are from 9:30 am to 1:45 pm Every period timing are 45 min. Lunch time around 30 min. And bus time is 2:15

For my course, selection was done on the merit basis. Any student who has completed his high school with 90+ marks in English was eligible for this course. The application form, fees, and dates, everything is appropriately available on the college's website. Yes, if you belong to ST/SC you are given reservation and relaxation in the cutoff. Exans are held regularly in a proper manner. The difficulty level of the exams conducted are moderate to high.
