Remarks :

There are no remarks about my college. The experience is nice and i feel that i am very lucky to be here.

Entrance Preview :

The students need to appear for Jee advanced exam and apply for the counselling. I wrote the Jee mains exam and got qualified for Jee Advanced exam. Then after the result declaration i applied for JoSAA counselling. My dream was to join engineering in any of the reputed IIt's. Based on my rank i got a seat in IIT kharagpur.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Since this was a IIT there is no neced to worry about the course cirriculum. The courses are desingnd in a way to give students a practical knowledge of the subjects they are learning. In addition to the core subjects we also get a chance to learn about the optional subjects we like.

Internships Opportunities :

We get a chance to intern at some reputed companies in our 3 rd and 4th year. Some get paid internship. But what matters is the amount of skill the student is acquiring form that particular internship.

Placement Experience :

The students need not worry about the placements in IIT. Many companies come to hire students for the campus placements. The only thing the students need to take care of is their CGPA and their skills.the average package was 12 lakhs per annum.

College Events :

My IIT conducts many technical and cultural fests out of which Spring fest is the largest to talk about. This usually lasts for 4 days and many companies sponcer this fest.many students from India come here to participate in this.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The tuition fee for my college is 2 lakhs per annum. the mess fee and other fee constitutes upto another 70,000 INR .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are no scholarship facilities and loans are provided by many banks at a very low interest.

Campus Life :

There are many clubs which strive for the all round development of the students. Also Inter IIT sports fest is held where athletes from all the IIts compete .

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels were not maintained well. They were built many years ago and are not well furnished. The messes were good and the quality of food served is average. The hostel and mess fee constitutes upto 70,000 INR.

Faculty :

The faculty of my institute were highly qualified and have a great experience in teaching field. Their standards of teaching is too good . They mainly focus on the conceptualization of the topics. Many of the faculty were involved in research works and are always busy. So the interaction is less.

The placement of this college is quite good. 89% of students got placed in good companies like TCS, Accenture, Amazon, etc. in 2023. Moreover, this college also conducts special classes for placements where you will learn how to prepare for interviews and crack the interviews.

Hardship ends someday after Placements.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement after the 6th semester onwards.A total of 98 companies visited our college out of which they offered 120 offers and 86 students applied for placements out of which 78 are selected in the CSE branch. The selection was 90 percent. Average pay was 4-5LPA and the highest was 25LPA CTC in India. After getting my degree i planned for higher studies and placement in a MNC.

Remarks:

Nothing is perfect in the whole universe. There were loopholes in the college administration and there were a few, not-so-good guys, who did mistreat with students but thanks to the higher authorities, those were never a permanent issue.
