Entrance Preview :

I took BMAT enterance exam for my MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course was good enough. Every 6 months. You got to study all new subjects. 1st year is general. And 2nd year the subjects depends upon your choice of specialization. The list of specialization were finance and marketing, marketing and international business, or finance and international business. We could choose any 2 as Bvimr offers dual specialization.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes. Summer internship is provided, Indiabulls is one of the example. Stipend was not paid at all. We could choose other companies as well for internship and provide a certificate as a proof to the college.

Placement Experience :

Placements were pretty good for those in marketing specialization. The finance students had the least options available..companies who came for Placements included axis bank, HT, EY, Indiabulls, RBS, iifl.. Etc. The placement cell is hardworking and doing their job to the best of their ability. Package ranged frm 3.5 lakh p.a to 8 lakh p.a.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is quite economical as compared to other management college. So it can be termed as feasible or affordable by the middle class people. The exam fees was also relaxed. The approx. Cost of MBA course for 2 years would be around 8 lakhs inclusive of all exam and other fees.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No. There was no such facility of loan for students as the fees was economical as compared to other management college. Though it could be relaxed or delayed on case to case basis and personal request.

Campus Life :

Our college is too good when it comes to extra curricular activities. They also give you attendence for participating in the events.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel was ok types and the mess food was average too. I didn't have a chance to stay in the hostel as my house was close to the college. Bt this was the comments made by my other classmates who were staying in college hostel and were at times frustrated

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, The seniors are quite encouraging and helpful. We had a close bond with them while interacting at fest.

Exam Structure :

No. The exam schedule was not hectic. They gave us prepratory leaves as well marking was also lenient and relaxed. The labs were well eqquiped with good infrastructure and support staff. Overall the environment was chilled out and we never knew how those

Faculty :

They had huge knowledge and were hardworking with a lot of patience as well. The faculty was friendly enough to make the class interactive and participative to discourage the cases of mass bunk. Overall the teachers were knowledgeable and shared their p

Placement Experience:

Final placements start in the month of November. Many MNCs, startups, foreign companies and companies from different sectors visits the campus for summer internships and final placements as well. Placement activities take place in 2 phases. Profiles offered by the companies are at par the positions offered to IIM and other B School graduates. Almost 100% of the students are placed every year. Highest placement goes up to 32 lakhs, the average is 22 lakhs and the median package is 20 lakhs. The figures are almost the same for all the specializations that DMS offers. There are enormous opportunities for students of each specialization. Overall placement scenario at DMS is good.

Remarks:

The institute has the one of the best library, where I can find the different books for their studies. But not all books that are issued form the institute is relevant to syllabus so I have to purchase the books. The institute has the online portal that make me comfort in my studies and I can also go for the last year question papers from the portal.
