PGDM BATCH 20-22 Review

AS

Remarks :

During COVID times too, FIIB is offering a wide range of internship programs in its curriculum. I prefer this college as I learned from further reviews as well that it offers the best placement opportunities as they can.

Course Curriculum Overview :

They will definitely encourage, motivate and will surely interact with you to solve all your doubts. The teaching method through online mode is good during COVID times. The management part is well organized.

Internships Opportunities :

Guide 2 success, ICICI Bank, PNB Met life India insurance, AMUL India, CM Logistics, Bridge Solutions, Digitally Next, CFI Exports and other companies offered an internship for the FIIB Batch 2020-22. The stipend is offered according to the internship profile. It ranges from nil to 5K to 10K, 15K, 20K only.

Placement Experience :

From semester 3, the students have the Corporate Internship Program (CIP), this internship comprises of corporate internships from several reputed companies coming to college for the last two to five years and new ones accordingly. The marketing department gets the highest number of the offering of internships followed by finance, HR, Operations, analytics and others.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is okay but can be improved according to COVID time. They can reduce it but due to low strength and impact due to COVID, there is no option besides earning a scholarship. Campus internships are good at least as of April in the year 2021.

Campus Life :

Many activities are being conducted in this college by students and teachers. Students get many opportunities to organize activities every other week or month. B- involved points, certificates, prizes and other rewards are offered to students who win competitions.

Interview Experience :

Yes, I had my only PI round in online mode as I belong to another city. I had to spoke on one topic. It was quite a comfortable and good experience with the Teacher with a minimum requirement of 50% graduation.

Placement Experience:

You're eligible for the campus placement from semester 3. I got a placement in a few companies like policy bazaar and Barclays but the salary is quite low offered by the companies. I opted for none of these companies and interviewed for many companies after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose to do MBA as I did Bachelor's in business management from the same college and the next best alternative for me was to do a master's in the same field as it will give me enough good opportunities and specialization in the marketing field which I always wanted to pursue too. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. scholars and have great experience and knowledge. Though the teaching style of every teacher differs from one another. There is a total of 3 CES, 2 internals, and 1 external for each subject and we have 5 subjects in total.

In this MBA course, the placements range from 3.5 L to 11L. The average is 6-7L which is a very good ROI for the price you pay. There are many renowned companies which come for the placements so you just have to give your best and you will get a good package.

Placement Experience:

Placement system is not like getting placement in a week time i.e. there is no concept of placement week here. But companies keep on coming throughout the year. Students generally get placed by the month of February. A number of companies like HUL, Bajaj, Wipro, TATA, ICICI, HDFC, etc visit the campus to recruit students. The package can go as high as 24 lacs for few companies, while the average is 10 lac generally.

Remarks:

Delhi school of economics(DSE) is one of the best B schools in Delhi. We compete with B schools such as imt Ghaziabad and few baby IIMS. The faculties are amazing and the college is located close to my home. Placements are consistent, averaging at around 11 lakhs.

The placement and jobs opportunity are average. In our college the companies are coming like giving average packages 4 to 5 lakhs. This is an average college. And the SIPs like only sales profile are coming. You have to sale like insurance, debit card credit card stock. You have to call some other people like cold calling etc. The stipend is performance based. 1000 or Max to Max 6000.
