Course Curriculum Overview :

I did a b.com program at this college. Because I wanted to complete graduation from Delhi university. Our college faculty is very good and cooperative. Teaching methods and behavior are excellent. They are very friendly and understanding. We had 6 semesters in the whole 3 years of graduation. So every 6 months, we had our semester exams. Online covid situation and exams were a little difficult but offline teaching and exams were good and easy to pass the exams.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Our course fees are very affordable for every class of society as compared to other colleges in today's time. Every course and additional fees are affordable and payable to everyone studying there. Yes, the one thing is Our college's placement cell is not that much active. There are very few placements from our colleges.

Campus Life :

-Fests are conducted in the month of march Or April every year. And the name was ARTHNIVEDITA. books and journals are always available in the library. We have to get the library card to issue books and there's a specific timing for issuance of books. everything is available in classrooms except dustbins. our college has different sports such as volleyball and basketball on its grounds. NCC and NSS are also in our college which is very active. we have various societies such as commerce society, economics society, cultural society, etc.

Admission :

In 2020 there was the situation of covid-19, so we got admission by online procedure. The cut-off was based on merit lists, the marks obtained in 12th boards. It was quite good and hassle-free. We found everything on the Internet- the application form, fees, and everything about college. One thing which was complicated is migration. It was very confusing. After 1st-year completion of graduation, we were not informed about the migration situation. As our college is very far from our homes. Overall it's good and the teachers are very nice and friendly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is not very rigid as the time-table changes every semester. To me it seemed very flexible as I can pursue my CFA designation as well. I wont say that the curriculum prepares us for future pursuits as Delhi University offers a pretty old regime but have adopted the NEP policy from last year.

Placement Experience:

The placements of Gargi college are really nice. There is a placement cell in our college. From 3rd year 4th-semester students become eligible for campus placement. The average CTC was offered as Rs 5 LPA and 3.6 LPA for the previous session. The companies that visited our college are Ernst and young, KPMG, Smart cube and Genpact, S&p Capital IQ, etc. The percentage of students getting placements is 50%. My plan after getting a degree is to prepare for my CAT exam.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of DSC is very active. You can start doing internships from your very first year. Internships go on during the whole year. Placements are usually happening in the last or second last semester mainly for final year students. The main domain for which the recruitment drives are conducted are - Sales, Marketing, Accounting, and HR. The major companies that visit our campus are - KPMG, EY, GENPACT, JARO EDUCATION, WIRPO, and other companies with an average package of 3-3.5 lakhs, students do get nice offers from these companies. The highest package for the year 2020-21 was approximately near 5-6 LPA. There are a good number of students getting placements. Since I am planning for professional courses, I haven't sat for any placements but my friends do sit for the placements and as per the reviews, I can assure you that if you have the right amount of talent and zeal, you are not going to be graduate with empty hands.
