Remarks :

I'll give my college 4/5 rating -Good infra -Clean and good sanitation facility -Girls common room -Good lib having many books -Avg comp lab with around 40 comps -Crowd is good -Big ground Overall good college

Entrance Preview :

It requires only merit marks that you got in +2 class but now this system can be changed soon but now it is based on marks only

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course is quite simple as in each semester there will be 2 main subjects out of 4 In commerce there are mainly 2 courses ie bcom hons and bcom ( from which I'm pursuing) Bcom hons concentrates more on commerce but bcom is easy than it having less syllabus At time of placements hons have off course more scope but it is not the only key because bcom has quite good placements and it also worth good

Internships Opportunities :

Amazing internships come here for both bcom hons and bcom providing around Rs5000-10000 normally It has specific Internship cell which provides whole knowledge for it

Placement Experience :

As the college has good reputation and students are quite intelligent so placements are good Recently companies like KPMG ey delliote etc came giving minimum package of 2,70,000 for both the courses and around 10-30 students places in each company It has specific cell for placements that conduct this whole procedure which is very systematic

College Events :

We are used to it. We can see it frequently in Jan and Feb Our college has various departments like commerce dept, political science dept, maths dept,etc which conducts fests at their level and the annual fest of it have quite good budget where Bollywood singers usually come

Fee Structure And Facilities :

As it is govt college so the fees is quite nominal upto 9000 including everything type of fees like exam fees etc for 1 year for bcom It contains all the expenses like I'd card examination fees library card Can be paid online and have facility to pay through Paytm which has been owned by very less colleges You can see it is very feasible

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship facilities are being provided but for backward students not for general and also for students of Jammu Kashmir Though prizes are being given to those having good academic result

Campus Life :

Amazing life at campus which has good infra lib wifi in campus and much more There is no particular rule for gender ratio but to promote girls 1% marks are provided to them Workshops and seminars are frequently held and also quiz competitions Every gender cast religion rave is treated equally

Hostel Facilities :

It doesn't provide hostel facility but there are unlimited pgs near it You can find them in front of college in around 6000 pm and pgs are in very large quantity in radius of 3kms within the college Food is of average quality of canteen at reasonable price

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

They are very helpful as various seminars are conducted to meet them They are good motivators that induce students to do something in life

Exam Structure :

Exams are conducted after every 6 months of 75 marks for each subject which not very hectic Though internal exam also conducted for 25 marks which can be written or projects anday be presentations which will help in exploring To appear in exams it requires minimum 75% attendence which is very good thing

Admission :

Firstly check your marks in best four subjects Then, you have make sure that you are getting admission in which college by checking the cut off list of whole du You can also get it checked by visiting any college of it Then just go to that college in which student seeking admission and get it done

Faculty :

First of all let me tell that it is amazing experience to study in DU then it is one of the most reputed colleges in du specially for Commerce So it's faculty is mind blowing and having good crowd also makes it better as they have to put more hard work

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester the students became eligible for the placement but because average placement of my college is not so good, most of the students don't wait for the college placement. My plan after getting the degree is to study other professional courses in Commerce field.

Average package: 7.4 LPA (approx) Highest package: 21 LPA (approx) as per Placement Cell data. Companies such as Deloitte, Wipro, EY, KPMG, Crowe, Morgan Stanley, De shaw & Co, Walmart, PWC, Accenture, Mother Dairy etc took place in the most recent placement drive of our college. If no campus placement is offered, one can go for off campus placements and approach people and companies through LinkedIn. They may also go for Higher Education such as MCom, MBA or any professional courses such as CA, CPA, CFA, FRM etc. I feel Placement Cell of Ramjas College puts its best foot forward in order to bring the best companies on campus, assisting students throughout the process, and smooth onboarding in companies. Placement Experience:

the placement scenarios starts in the 5th semester. many MNCs visit the college and the most placed students are from b.com and b.com honours. I don't know about the other courses but I don't think they get many opportunities in college placement. average placement for b.com and BCom is around 5 lakh. the highest package ever offered was around 20 lakh as mentioned in college website.
