- The things I like about my college are definitely its societies. Our college has various societies each with its own unique set of skills they offer. For example- a marketing society, a finance society, a stock market society
- My college location wise is very good. It is located near a metro station and thus is very feasible to commute.
Dislikes
- I dislike the infrastructure to be honest. Some basement classes dont have adequate infrastructure.
- Little facilities of sports in my college as there is no proper infrastructure for it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is not very rigid as the time-table changes every semester. To me it seemed very flexible as I can pursue my CFA designation as well. I wont say that the curriculum prepares us for future pursuits as Delhi University offers a pretty old regime but have adopted the NEP policy from last year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My year-wise fee for pursuing the cource of B.Com(H) is ?15000(approx.). The fee for other courses lies between the range of ?12000-18000. No, Delhi University doesn't provide any scholarships. Some other necessary fee are the exam fee and registration fee that is to be paid by the students.
Campus Life :
The overall campus life is good but not that great. We do have some events annually such as Communique, Priyadarshani etc. The range of books availability is nice as we have a well developed library. The overview of college sports is not that great as we only have football and basketball and no other sport.
Admission :
I applied to Symbiosis,Pune and Christ Banglore as well. I got into both the colleges but i choose Delhi University because of certain reasons-1. Its low fee 2-Flexibility in attendance and timings of classes,3-Close to my hometown. My admission process was throught CUET, which is a competitive exam.
Faculty :
The faculty-to-stident ratio would be 1:40 as we have a class size of 40 students with 240 being in total. Most of the teachers are very professional and good. The faculties are very much approachable as they are kind and helping for the students. There is one exam at the end of the semester and is not that tough if the student is regularly studying. Also some tests are conducted in class for the internal marks.
