  • Lab is not upto the mark. Most of the system are with defects and there is no proper technician to get it done.
  • Sometimes staffs are too busy to approach

Course Curriculum Overview :

To become a lecturer or Assistant professor I need to pursue a PG course. so I opted for M.E. The faculty and student ratio is 1:25. Which is a very good number. The faculties are experts in their subjects except a few. Teaching is usual with notes, and no new methods are followed. Sometimes the lectures are boring since there is no interaction in many sessions. Exams are really easy and am a rank holder. Buy my cycle test are more difficult than University exams.

Placement Experience :

At the end of 3rd semester, we attended two campus interviews. But the pay is too low with 6k per month. Many students rejected the companies since the payslip is low. I got an offer from in engineering college as an Assistant professor.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

It cost around rs.87k each year. (2-year course). Regarding scholarship, rs.6000 is allotted. But I got the call after completing my M.E., am not in the city too. So I didn't receive the scholarship money. Other than that nothing.

Campus Life :

We had technical symposiums at both national and international levels. Foreign delicacy was also attended and the event is a huge success. Books are available in limited numbers. sometimes photocopies helped us to overcome scarcity. Classrooms are big enough to accommodate 25 members with a bench and desk. Extracurricular activities are limited for pg. No such groups are created openly in college.

Admission :

Basic interview about the UG and got selected for the PG program. Paid the fees before writing the entrance exam for M.E. The entrance exam is for the namesake. The question was pretty easy. I got selected through management quota.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is good , like all other institution education is bookish practical projects are less so people will find hard in placements because company expect you to be more practical.Relative grading is the other factor i found it more inappropriate since how grade depends on others as well, that is bad.

Admission:

I am pursuing ME computer science and engineering course from AVCE.It is a two-year duration course with 4 specializations. Candidates who have completed BE or B.Tech in relevant discipline are eligible to join ME course. Admission to ME program is given on the basis of GATE/ TANCET scores. I got selected on the basis of my GATE score.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very nice. They often organise on-campus placement drives. Companies like grassroots, intelenet, Revol Softwares, Aqua groups, IDBI etc visit the campus with good job opportunities.

Admission:

Admission is on the basis of IIFPT Post Graduate Entrance Examination. A merit list is prepared on the basis of the entrance exam scores and overall academic performance of the student. I always wanted to join the institute for a bachelor’s, but opting for the Food Tech trade was a last minute decision.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college is pretty decent. Many companies visited our campus this year compared to the previous batch. But still there is a lot of scope for improvement. The average salary package offered is around 3-4 LPA. There is a placement cell which deals with all the placement activities. Students have to search for internships on their own.
