Alpha College of Engineering (ACE), Poonamalle, Chennai is run by the Alpha Educational Society, a non-profit educational body registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The Alpha College of Engineering (established in 2006) is affiliated to Anna University and approved by AICTE. The Career Development Cell of Alpha College of Engineering (ACE) is focused on aiding the Academic Departments of ACE in creating employable graduates for the industry who will shape the country’s future. ACE conducts tranings on Communication Skills and Soft Skills to develop confidence among students during the placement drive. The CDC also conducts aptitude trainings on analytical reasoning, logical reasoning, verbal and nonverbal reasoning for the students. ACE is a member of ICTACT Academy which helps to develop the required skills of the students through their Youth Circle Program and has also signed an MOU with ICTACT for creating Center of Excellence for Data Analytics Programme.

- The placement officer, apart from placements, ensures that students gain invaluable industrial experience through internships, workshops, training, etc.

- They are thinking of developing the college, but they are still contemplating and not taking any action to actually develop the college. Additionally, there are very few MTC buses arriving at the bus stops near the college, and the sports facilities are also very poor.
- One guy in my hostel came in weighing around 120 kg, but now in just one year, he has become 70 kg. It shows how much power the food in my hostel has and how terrible the mess contractor is
