Remarks :
College campus is very small, don't have the canteen at all, library is small, the reading room is small, don't have enough classroom. We have to manage anyhow. The college building is very old need to be repaired. My experience is good. All i want to say is development is quite slow. Marwari college Ranchi is good college but has to improve toward the necessary facilities , infrastructure , Security provided by the college
Entrance Preview :
I appeared for BCA course in Marwari College Ranchi. I come to this college on the basis of information I get. After entrance examination, no interview process is held. I got admission on the basic of combined marks I got in entrance and in 12th board exam. I am interested in computer and its internal working, that's why is choose too take BCA.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course I choose is BCA(Bachelor in computer application) and is good course. Due to lack of resources the teacher give average focus on practical learning. No events or programs is organised to emphasis on practical learning. No research initiatives are taken by the college management to improve the skills of the student. Yes their is an option of NCC . Interested student can take NCC according to there skills and ability.
Internships Opportunities :
yes, our college provide internship. Various companies visit to out college and give stipend for respective work.
Placement Experience :
Various company related to IT sector, banking, etc visit our college and interested students give exams of it. The performance of our college is more than average, means 6 out of 10 student get placed in placement. Some name of the companies are TCS, Wipro, SAP visit to our college every years. The average package we get is 4.2 lacks , in SAP it is 7.2 and vary according to different companies and position in the company.
College Events :
Events like Xpression (college fest).teacher day are held in the college annually. Xpression include competition like rangoli, face panting, creative writing, debate, various sports, dancing , singing event and more. people take part in large amount. approx 3000 people a involved in the college fest. Fest is well organised and have good arrangements like water, urinal etc. The thing which college fest lack in is security. Lot of people are involved in this fest to make is successful. Teacher also take part in this fest to incourage students .Teachers are less involved as compared to fest team in the events.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fees structure is quite low which is good. For vocational courses the fees is around Rs 13000 and for non-vocational courses the fees is below Rs 5000. No extra charges are taken along with the fess except the examination charge and fine if any.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes college provide scholarship to every reserved category who has applied for it. No i am general category so i am not eligible for it. No college don't make any effort in getting loans to the students.
Campus Life :
Our college is good in extracurricular activity. Different types of events are organised for the students to show their talent other than studies. Every student get more than average change to participate in the program. Teachers also seems interested in the various event. They also take part in it. They sing and entertain somtimes.
Hostel Facilities :
No, I live in my resident. Their is no hostel facility provide by college.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni network is quite good. Most of the students make a good environment around him/her. If required they guide they junior as well. Not really, but i find class is the best platform for the interaction of the students. NO alumni do not contribute much in the development of the college. yes but students play a good role for make a healthy environment.
Exam Structure :
No, exams is held as per as schedule and we get proper timing for the preparation. Lab in the college is not up to date , don't have enough resources (computer, hardware, etc) for all students. All student can not access the lab facility at same time. In 2 to 3 batches all student do practical of a single topic.
Faculty :
there is lack of faculties in our college but faculties we have in our college is well qualified and well experienced. Faculties make good effort to make student aware about the topic discussed in class. Due to less number of facilities, they are not able to manage the entire part 1, part 2 and part 3 students of vocational department.
