Course Curriculum Overview

4

Environmental science was always my cup of tea. Since I am deeply into the subject I opted it as my main. The overall faculty strength is 6, who were experts in different fields of environmental science. All the tutors are Ph.D. holders. The maximum strength of one class will be up to 40, this will be divided into laboratory classes later. The semester system is followed here, each semester exam will be conducted timely according to the university calendar. The difficulty scale cannot be predicted it will depend on the question paper for each semester.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internships with stipends are not provided by the university, but faculties do help in finding some outside internship opportunities. They will share all the details through WhatsApp groups, and interested students can apply on their own, with the support of faculties.

Placement Experience

4

The placement cells started to become active during my final semester. So we couldn't get any placement. But as per information from juniors currently, there are a number of placement opportunities available, which are beneficial for students. My batch of students benefitted from the faculties by getting job opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

For BSc Environmental Science I paid 44000 for each semester. This won't include the examination fee which will be up to 6500 for each semester examination. Currently, there are no scholarships available for bachelor's students by University. Placement cells are becoming active in 2021.

Campus Life

5

Annual fests are conducted in a very organized way each year including the whole university. Students are encouraged to participate in all the arts and sports fest conducted and even teachers also have the chance to participate. Many clubs and cells are active in environmental conservation, placements, charity, etc. Library collections are also available for students for their extra references. The collection range will be different for different departments.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The college hostel facility is the best when compared to outside accommodation. The fee will range up to 90000 per year. Rooms will be cleaned frequently by their workers, very neat and good atmosphere. Only vegetarian food is allowed. My hostel was located in Bannimandap it's very close to the college campus. Compared to other private hostels and PG the fees are affordable.

Admission

Admission procedures can be completed through the university website directly. There were no application fees during my application. Students with comparably good marks can get admission. The main eligibility criteria put forward by the college for BSc Environmental Science is at least an 80% mark for 12 Biology science board examinations. All the communications are through the mail which we provide through the application.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements right after completing their B.Math(Hons) degree, i.e after their 6th semester. Companies like Microsoft, Google, LinkedIn, Wipro, and other Multinational Companies visit and every student gets an offer from one company or the other. The package ranges from 10LPA to 25LPA. Those students who opt for placement after their B.Math(Hons) course is over, all get a placement offer while most of the students prefer to continue their Master's Degree. I too would like to complete my Master's Degree after my bachelor and think about further options thereafter.
