  • Lack of efficient placement for bachelor degree
  • Can improve amenities provided with respect to classrooms

Course Curriculum Overview :

Our curriculum includes syllabus in regard to that of National Education Policy scheme where in we have 2 core subjects. I chose biotechnology and genetics since it something I really look forward to pursue as my career in the field. We had one subject as open elective which enhanced our curriculum since we could choose from various course every semester. The university exams however were conducted for 60marks as theory and 2.5 hours for the same which can be extended to 3 hours

Internships Opportunities :

We had to do internship in regard to final semester with 2 credits. However the college did not facilitate with providing internship from their end. We had to find internship in companies/ hospitals/ diagnostics/ laboratories on our own where stipend was not provided. It would be great help for students to avail industrial knowledge if the college can provide students with such opportunities.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee was around 55000 per year and can be upto 80,000 for students coming from other states. As far as my knowledge the college do not provide with scholarships or any financial aids. Enough time would be provided to pay the fees. Would be feasible for students if scholarships can be provided with various basis of background or studies

Campus Life :

The annual fest conducted Is not so regular where in we had it for just the first year. Apart of college fest, departmental fests will be held which involves both UG and pg students along with faculty support. Fests are mostly held in even semesters. Whereas occasionally we have many other cultural events and club activities alongside throughout the year. The college has an amazing infrastructure for the library with good number of books and systems which is accessible to students throughout the year. Sports and extracurricular activities are held hand in hand. There are many clubs including eco club, cultural club, theatre club, quiz club etc

Admission :

Course eligibility was to have 60% + in PCMB stream of Science in Pu. One can go to admission office where counseling is provided regarding various course availability and future opportunities. Once confirmed, application and brochure would be provided in which student details need to be filled and few payment can be done. The frequency of University exams is supposed to be 5-6 month duration whereas we had it in about 3-4 month for some of the semesters which was difficult to manage with practical exams and internals dnd various other things along side. The question paper would be moderate to difficult and depends on one's preparation for the exam.

Faculty :

Faculty to student ratio is upto the par. Most of the faculty are PhD holders along with a few with post doctoral degree. Teaching and mentorship is very efficient. And one can always approach them during free hours or online in case if doubts or any regard for that matter

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose physics and computer science. It is verry good course for real world. You can use physics in cs.there is lots of time to complete the syllabus before the exam days . You will get enough study holidays to prepare for the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course - BSC in Anaesthesia technology and operation theatre technology which I'm pursuing has a good career option, best way to help people if you can't clear NEET, you'll get specialization in both anaesthesia and operation theatre which is good for you future placements. The curriculum is very knowledgeable as it is too hard and lenghty for average students. The exams are undoubtedly hard but is 100% from your syllabus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course's syllabus is very well structured. Each semester you learn a new topic and have practicals every week based on what you learnt in theory. Biotechnology is a very vast field so by the end of the course you have learnt a bit about the main areas of the subject which helps you choose the field for your higher studies. Exams are conducted twice per semester, mid sem and end sem. In between, there are internals or activities basically which will taken into account for your finals marks.

Placement Experience:

The students of the final semester are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Omega Healthcare, Biocon, Cognizant, TCS, Accenture, Magic Bus, Intelizign, Patanjali Health Institute, etc. The highest package my seniors were offered was around 15L/year and the average was 8L/year. Almost 60-80% of students got the campus placements. I want to get my master's degree completed and then try for Ph.D. and get into the research field.

Placement Experience:

There is a mandatory internship for students during the summer break after their 1st year of MSc. BASE Placement Cell (BPC) is responsible to look after the placement and internship opportunities for the students. However, the students need to opt-in for their service or they can handle it on their own. The first batch will graduate in the year 2022 and hence there is no placement record for the same.
