Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus needs to bring more practical skills as our field requires that more that theory based knowledge. We need to include more updated methods in our curriculum and also include more subjects related to nutrition.
Internships Opportunities
I was offered internship at Narayan hospital for 4 months as a part of my curriculum. We had to then submit and internship report later to show our progress in our respective field. We also came in contact with various clinical dietitians who were willing to help carry out our research project.
Fees and Financial Aid
1st year -98k 2nd year-98k Exam fees per semester -2500 Extracurricular activities-2000 Scholarships like SSP / NSP were available. The fees did increase from when I did my bachelor's. It was 72k at the time.
Campus Life
There were many activities carried out throughout thet year that helped us build social connections. There were many educational conferences and webinars arranged to boost our confidence and expand our knowledge.
Admission
I heard that the life sciences courses in JSS are really good. The admission process was really simple and things were carried out fastm They just needed our previous years markscards and other necessary documents to complete our admission.
Faculty
The faculty was really good when it came to the syllabus and the teaching. They also helped us improve both our practical and theoretical skills individually. Our thesis was also accepted due to their guidance and support
Night Life
As our campus was located on the main road there wasn't much of a nightlife expected there. But there were all the essential requirements near to our college which helped the hostelites and also the day scholars.
