  • There is very less space for Sports, as we were in Transit Campus
  • Some Faculties of our Institute are inexperienced.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum was quite hectic in Terms 1 and 2. Some of the Faculty Members of IIM Jammu are Inexperienced in Teaching because of this they are not able to deliver the content properly. The Faculty: Student ratio is 1:6.

Internships Opportunities :

ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Schneider, V-guard, Jio Cloud Gaming, College Duniya, NINE, Digital Marvelled, Adani, Adani Wilmar, etc. I was placed in Reliance retail (Outsourced). My project was to increase the footfall of the stores.

Placement Experience :

We have Campus Placement in our Institute. The average Package for final Placement is 1643000 and for Summer Internship 45000. There is 100% placement in our Institute. Companies like ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Adani, Adani Wilmar, NINE, College Duniya, Jio Cloud Gaming, V-Guard, Schneider, etc came for SIP in our Institute.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As we are moving to our Permanent Campur, So there is a hike of around 10-15 %. There was an SBI Scholarship at our Institute. My institute provides Scholarships on the basis of Merit. The average stipend of our Institute is 45000.

Campus Life :

Life On our Campus is good, because of the good people in our batch. As we were in Transit Campus and that was too small so we were sharing rooms with 2 or 3 people. Some of them share with 4 to 5 people.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility was Good. The hostel fee is 73500 per year. Only fans was provided in a room of 3 people. No heater allowed in Winters. Mess In our Campus was good but the food provided was average or sometimes very bad in taste. Food Quality was below par. Sometimes Paneer was like Rubber. Now the vendor is changed, so we hoping for best.

Admission :

In the admission process, There was an Interview Process only. The Entrance Exam for IIMs is CAT and Cut-off for General Category was 93%ile for CAP process and 90%ile for the SAP process. My percentile was 90.56. I get in through SAP process.

Placement Experience:

As far as IPM is considered, there is no such record of placement for this course as of now. Although we will be taking placements along with the existing MBA core batch, hence, our packages will be somewhat similar to them only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is different. They are offering practical knowledge to the students and they will give notes and case studies. And each semester every paper we have to submit one assignment and presentation in every subject that is very helpful for the students to imptove the inner quality and extra knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is highly relevant and has practical implications. I enjoy studying the diverse courses that are offered. Lots of cases are discussed and a lot of discussions are conducted. Exam frequency is okay considering we have only mid-term and end-term exams.

College provides 100% placements. The committee ensures that the students get placed in the best organizations with good package. We also have the option of outsourcing. However, with the record until now college placements have been good with the highest package being 65LPA.

Placement Experience:

Yes, they have the campus placements but as you know the competition is too high in the corporate world, you have to work really hard. If you want a job, do certification programs, gain experience and skills. Skills and experience are more important than the academics.

Placement Experience:

After the completion of 2 semesters, we are eligible for on-campus placement and after the 2 sems, companies also start coming to smvdu . ICICI, SRIRAM, Berger, etc are the companies that come here. The highest package is 420000 and 320000 is the lowest package the companies provide here. 50-60% of students get placed and it totally depends upon the caliber of the students how they crack the interview. I want to work in an MBC and want to earn good money.

Admission:

The admission to the course is based on the exam called CUCET which is conducted by the college for masters courses. The admission process is online and students can swatch for the application forms there.

Placement Experience:

Companies like Wipro and Infotech are some of the few which visit the college and have a process of recruitment. In general, the college can improve in the area of placements since not many students are granted placements.
