  • Extra curricular programs are low compared to other collages

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is a mix of electronics and computer science. Choosing this branch was not at all in my mind but after some research I came to know that I can switch to 2 alternative fields for my carrier which would be beneficial

Internships Opportunities :

Intership details are not much known for me as iam a fresher but when we asked to seniors they told that there are many intership available but it all doesn't provide by collage... It all will be under many skill upscaling clubs.. They guide us to that internships

Placement Experience :

The placement will be available from 6th semester onwards. Companies in techno park are mostly coming for placement in our collage. The average lpa is 2 and highest is like 10. Around 60% are getting placed. My plans is that for the time being if I get a placement i will for it and study extra with that job

Fees and Financial Aid :

The course I opted is btech in electronics and computer science. It's a mixed branch that avails good carrier opportunities... Yearly fees is 1 lac for management. For merit it's like 70k. I don't have anu scholarship to avail.

Campus Life :

As this collage give priorities to curriculum side and not other activities this low programs are being conducted but we can make it more interesting by joining clubs and other platforms to upscale skills and experience. Extra curricular activities are there but compared to other collages it's marked as low

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is situated backside of the collage. It's a 3 storey building with 30 rooms... Each room consists of 3 students. The meal served are very much good compared to other collages. Quality is great actually.. Hostel fees around 30000 per year and 5000 rs monthly for mess. Ambience of room is great and frequently they clean the rooms and corridor and we all have a common bathroom

Admission :

I applied to many other collages but due to keam rank i only got here for manangment seat. If I had a good rank maybe I won't be in this collage.... The exam for entering was Kerala entrance examination and i got a rank of 40100. I choosed computer engineering for other collages that's why I was not able to get the admission

Faculty :

Faculty are friendly and very helpful especially our staff advisor.. They are just helping beyond there duties actually . Ann ma'am is our advisor and my favourite one is also her... She is kind hearted one who helps without any requirements

Interview Experience :

No such interview question were asked to me . In the admission procedure they asked me the details of the previous school and why this branch is choosed.. That was the all total process done for the admission

Night Life :

There is actually no nighlife.... Collage closes almost at 7pm... We hostelers are allowed only upto 6.30 pm but we have enough freedom to go anywhere. So it's likely to be ok for us. We go to nearby beach and cafe for hangouts with girl hostlers too.

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

Placement Experience:

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students. The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.

Placement Experience:

There are many programs to improve our placement capabilities. These programs provide spoken English classes and PMKVY Yojana classes. S6 and S7 students have the opportunity to attend placement sessions. The average package that the companies usually provide is 200,000 per annum. Usually, 10-15 students get placed in the first session, and the rest will be considered in the other upcoming sessions. I'm planning to do ethical hacking course after the degree
