Remarks :
Management system is bit corrupt now a days attempt are being done to correct it, infrastructure of the college is good and the facilities like gym, swimming pool playground and Health acre centre etc are good.
Entrance Preview :
IIT JEE exam in which I had scored 90 percentile and for all india rank 60% percent of this was considered and 40 % of your PU SCORE in which I had scored 97%, this is the number one college in Karnataka and gives better exposure for students that's why I chose this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum will not be same every year, it depends on the professor, they are the ones who decides the syllabus, but if students are interested in perticular subject they can request the department to give it as a elective, some courses are good some are just for name sake
Internships Opportunities :
Our college doesn't give internships but it invites companies to college they will come take students for internships, usually it will be in your third year, for core brooches almost nill but for CS and IT Branches good apprortunity is there and they will be getting stipend of 30-50k per month
Placement Experience :
Placements in our college is the best among all the colleges in Karnataka, usually every year around 280 companies will visit the campus almost 80% of students will get placed, companies like Microsoft,Intuit, Samsung,Adobe etc. comes for coding profile and for core beaches borsch, Tata hero, Volvo etc will come and 3-4 PSU will also come. Packages are as follows Microsoft 22lpa,Intuit 20lpa,Adobe 20lpa, Bosch Tata hero will be around 6-7lpa and PSU like HPCL,BPCL,IOCL will come they offer 12lpa For IT and comps average package is 10lpa For core branches 6lpa
College Events :
There will be many events in the college which will keep students busy during their academic year, there are basically two big fest's one is a cultural festival one is tech fest. Tech fest is called as ENGINEER and it will be in the odd sem and in this fest falg ship events will be conducted by Mech committee and tronix committee, mechanical committee will conduct events like Bot hockey, perfect machine, Wright flight, velocity and the most crowd pulling event ROBO WARS. It will be fun to watch all of these events and to participate in them.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Every sem Fee structure is as follows Mess fee+Hostel rent: 17500 College fees: 22000 Total expense for the sem is around 40000 In a year 2 sem so total annual fees is 80k And total engineers will be completed at the expense of 3.2 lakh And miscellaneous expenses will be 2k per month so totally 4lakh for 4 years.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
College provides scholarship of 5k for general students based on their merit and 12k for OBC students and this is given annually.and there is a scholarship for those who secured AIR rank below 5000.
Campus Life :
Every year college takes input of 750 students and gender ratio is almost 1:5 (girl:boy) Students are from all over India and about 100 NRI students will also be there they will be getting seat through separate exam and usually students form group based on their native places like Karnataka, Andra Pradesh, Kerala etc etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are ok, mess food is not that good, about the hostel first year 3 students per room and there will be a block timing of 10pm and in second year no block timing and 2 students per room. Third and final year students are given Mega Towers where single room is provided for each student. Optional mess opportunity provided from last year and internet facility is too good and we will be getting at least 500kbps speed normally.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni network of the college is very giod, there is allumni association which helps the students in many ways, it is providing the platform for students to get the guidence from their seniors and they also help us getting new companies for placements and for providing internships for students.
Exam Structure :
Exam structure is continuos evaluation system, there will be quizzes midsem and endsems, quizzes will have 30% weeightage, midsem 20% and endsems 50%, it will be hectic for some of the beaches like second year mechanical is very hectic and EC will be hectic usually and Cumulative Grade Point System is being followed
Admission :
Admission process is simple, after getting the AIR rank you are supposed to fill your beach chooses and institutes you want through online, then after second round of seat allotment I got mechanical branch, after this there was a document verification and then admission in the college
Faculty :
Faculty is good but it all depends on you, there are some profs who knows but can't present it properly they simply read ppts and there are profs who are too good and usually profs doesn't care much about students unless a student personally goes and asks doubts and asks help regarding internships projects then only they will help.
