Its a ever improving paradise in the world and all the best future

Entrance Preview :

I wrote Kerala engineering entrance examination to get an admission in govt eng college kannur. My rank was 4022 and my score was 410 out of 600.I opt this college because its having one of the beautiful ambiances to learn. I went through the interview process quiet comfortably

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college is affiliated to kannur university . And they have given significance to research in their curriculum . There were sufficient no of electives and most of them were very relevant . I chose numerical methods and quality management as electives

Internships Opportunities :

No , the college doesn't provided internships we have to do our own. I completed my internship in valappatanam plywood limited . it is the largest ply wood manufacture in Kerala . There was no stipend at all .

Placement Experience :

TCS, MRF ,QBURST ,IBM , GOOGLE ,L&T As a mechanical candidate i was mostly interested in MRF . They provided a package of 4 lakh per annul . With food accommodation free of cost . I was not placed in any of the interview and i am happy with the interview experience .

College Events :

From first day to the last day college was flourished with events and celebrations . I remember the program organised by kairali tv channel and it was a most memorable one . I haven't participated in any but i enjoyed all of them .Almost once in a month there programs

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Because it was a government college fees structure was very much feasible . I got one scholarship from this college named e grantz so that i was not required to pay the fees . per semester the fees was only 6000 rupees . I think it is affordable to every one

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes i got one scholarship from this college named e grants . Because the fees was very low i didn't took loan

Campus Life :

There were a lot of extra curricular activities . The college is having one NSS unit . Sports meet ins conducted annually. Once in three we conduct a tech fest called explore . Last year it was highly successful . The gender ratios are good . we conducted robotics workshop

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities provided by the college was very good . And very much affordable . There were two blocks named mh1 and mh2 . And both of them is having clean and fresh atmosphere . the fees varies with the type of food served but maximum monthly fee can be 2000 rupees only

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

As i am also a part of the alumni . we are very active to improve our college . Previous year gave best student of the year award

Exam Structure :

The exam structure was very easy and was always practical oriented . They provided enough time to prepare for the exam . The labs are very clean and the staff always make sure of the safety measures . Spending time in labs was wonderful and exciting

Admission :

After the first allotment i got admission in mechanical engineering department , that was my first preference. I went there for my admission with my father and mother. In the first sight itself i fell in love with the ambiance of the college, as it was greenish all around . During the admission procedure they asked me fill the forms and verified my matriculate and plus two certificate .The staffs were so friendly and answered all my queries.

Faculty :

All the faculties of the college is well qualified and they were always ready to help the students . Most of them completed their masters in IIT's and NIT's . And they also guided us and teaches us how things work . During exams they conducted doubt clearing sections .

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
