Likes

Discipline is first thing i liked every class is well organised and teachers are punctual.
Security is second thing. College has good amout of security personal and a police station is present just outside College gate .feels safe
Autonomous status is thired thing. As it gets very simple during exams

Dislikes

No good sports ground in college. Even cricket has to be played outside college.
Lack of space in cse building. As there are many sections so lack of space happens sometimes
Less alumni student interaction in college

The course is recently updated and wed is introduced in the first year itself, unnecessary subjects like drawing are removed for cse students faculty to student ration can be improved. Prof. Are of phd level cse branch has good teachers. Easy to crack exams if you are consistent. Autonomous college so exam dates are managed acc. To syllabus covered so good

Fees and Financial Aid

165k is fees for general students and for non-cap students also you can consider an additional 1 lakh for the hostel and 50k for miscellaneous if u are a hostelite. Maha govt. Provides scholarships for different sections of people who refer to their website. Sc st student only has to pay 40k for obc its 90k and others 165k

Campus Life

Pratishruti is a fest conducted every year generally in February. The college has centralised library and ac reading rooms. Sports are also encouraged. The college has many tech and sports clubs like gdsc gfg and art etc.

Admission

I gave Mhtcet exam but they also take admissions through jee exam and Management quota, I am an obc student so the 70k fee is removed as the Maharashtra government has a scholarship for non. Management quota students. Things are systematic by cell-cell

Placement Experience:

The Campus placement of VNIT Nagpur is good enough. Students of 7th and 8th semesters are elegible for campus placement. Many companies visited in the campus some prominent names were google, Microsoft, amazon, Goldman Sachs, and many core companies such as bajaj, HPCL,BPCL etc. the number of offers made was 760 in 2024 and placement percentage was around 80 percent.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.
