  • The placements opportunities are not satisfactory as compared to the tag of BHU.
  • The other thing is there is also mobile network issue.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I wanted to pursue my career in higher mathematics, BHU is a very good career platform for a master's in mathematics. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:5. All the faculties of BHU are highly educated. They all have done their PhD in their specialization. Their teaching method is very helpful. Bhu has a semester type of exam pattern. The exams were held twice a year. If we study regularly for 1-2 hours it's easy to score well in the term examination.

Placement Experience :

The placements are not so high from BHU but still, there are many edtech companies and coaching institutes which are interested in bhu msc mathematics students. The coaching institutes like Allen, Aakash, and resonance have shown their interest in a placement. Most students in Bhu prefer to pursue higher education in mathematics like a PhD. I am also planning to pursue PhD in mathematics.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The course fee for bhu is 2980 rupees. According to the facilities, education level and atmosphere, the fees are very minimal. There are various scholarships available in bhu like Inspire, Nsp etc which students can avail of. Bhu also provides an opportunity for poor students through its earn-while-studying program, which provides assistance to poor students to get their pocket money.

Campus Life :

The life of bhu campus is one of the best life I have enjoyed. There are many annual fests conducted by each institute in BHU. The science department has an annual fest named Aakanksha conducted every year in February. Bhu has one of the largest libraries in Asia. There are thousands of books are available in bhu library. Bhu has every type of classroom highly advanced classrooms to old-type classrooms. Bhu conducts many sports events at various levels like department level, class level and inter hostel.

Hostel Facilities :

Bhu is India's largest residential University. The best part of BHU life is its hostel Life. Bhu provides a hostel for a very very low amount. Hostel rooms contain beds, tables, chairs, an almirah, a fan and high-speed wifi connections. The meal quality is moderate type, sometimes it's very good while sometimes it's not so good. Registration for a hostel is done while applying for cuet entrance exam.

Admission :

For admission in the Msc-mathematics course, students have to clear cuet-pg exam conducted by NTA every year. The eligibility for BHU Msc-mathematics is 50% marks in B.Sc. (Hons)/B.Sc. (10+2+3) as well as at 10 & 10+2 examinations. The application can be found on the official website of NTA. generally, application forms start in March-April. All the reservations provided by the Indian government are available as well as 10% of seats are reserved for BHU old students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has switched to New Education Policy which is fantastic and also the labs of ohr Department is well equipped with all the modern facilities and the staffs are also very good. Teachers often teach of PowerPoint Presentations which makes the classroom experience boring but some use the Board teaching so each teacher applies it's own method but you will get all the resources at the end of the day. Exams occur well in time and the whole academic calendar is released before the start of your semester so you will know what is the time of your exam

Placement Experience:

There are no placement programmes as such. They do put notices on board but it is either for UG students or for MBA students. There are no placements drives for Zoology students. They also don't encourage students for internships.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did M.sc with fish and fisheries as speciality in final year because nowadays because of growing population throughout the world humans are facing hunger and shortage of food and that have had encouraged the practice of aquaculture. It not only provides food but also contributes to India's economy to large extend. And also fishes are very useful in indicating any type of water pollution due to pesticidal runoff or any other pollutants and hence quite beneficial in determining the health of aquatic ecosystems.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this because I have an interest in plants as they are the backbone of our mother earth. There are 80% of the students are female and the rest 20% are male in my faculty. In my faculty, 2 professors are from Oxford University and the rest are from LU. Term exams are scheduled after every 5 or 6 months which all are average.

Placement Experience:

Actually from the 2nd semester, students can apply for placements. Almost 50-70% of students were placed in this course. The highest and lowest package of salary is offered and it depends on the performance of students. The highest salary is something 20, 000 per month on the other hand the lowest salary is 35, 000 per month. And average salary offer in course is 20, 000 per month approx. There are many companies like TCS, HTC, Wipro, Flipkart and Amazon are in our course. almost 50-70% can get internships from my college. My plan after MSC is to teach in a higher college at a high level. I am also applying for a good job.
