Remarks :

I look like everything happens for photoshoot only. But the good thing is this is the most disciplined college in India.

Entrance Preview :

I qualified WBJEE. My rank is 4761. I can't get Jadavpur University. My opinion after Jadavpur this college is good under WBJEE. So I choose this.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course structure is not as good as it should be for research. It was around 7 years back syllabus which is still continuing. Still python language is not taught.But there is an innovation lab for those who want to do some work in the research field. There is a platform for publishing journal.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, from this year college is going to provide internship for the 2nd-year student. I don't know more details about it right now.

Placement Experience :

Placement is good. Around 80% got placement. But in mass recuriting company in TCS Wipro Infosys. The company in core branch are very less. A package is also not good 3- 3.5 lakhs p.a Very few around 20 - 30 students got 6 to 12 lakhs pa. Around 1-2 student got 15 lakhs pa. Total no of student is around 800

College Events :

We celebrated a fresher's party. So many events are happening always in the college. So many students body in college that organize events. Student's gymkhana, Ishrae student chapter, IEEE students chapter, ie students chapter etc. are the student body.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee is quite expensive. 61000 a semester. And after that so many other expenses example participating in any event or exam fee pt dress etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No, I don't think college provide any scholarships. But banks are there that provides loan facility.

Campus Life :

The gender ratio is 3 girls per 10 boys. The campus is not good there is no playground only two basketball court. But they heir ground for the cricket tournament. There is cultural fest, annual fest, tech fest and many other events organized by the college. All fests are good and tech fests are best.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is not good. It has not his own hostel. The hostel is on contact. Food quality is not good. Cleaning is not maintained.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are very much helpful. There is 0% ragging. As discipline is very strict.

Exam Structure :

Two mid-term exams and the semester exam. There are around 5 labs classes in a week.We have to submit around 2 lab reports a week. Late submission is not entertained. Discipline is the most important in college. We still felt like it is a school. We can't be a min late in the morning otherwise whole day attendance will be cut. There are 5 marks for attendance also.

Admission :

College is allotted by WBJEE through online counseling. I bring allotment letter in the college with my 10th 12th admit card and mark sheet. Then I paid my semester fee 61000 and then I got my admission.At the time of counseling also I paid 20000 rupees online.

Faculty :

Faculties are good. But some professor has a slight problem in speaking in English as they are from Bengali background. The teacher has mainly focused on how to complete syllabus only. Some teachers are very good but some do it like formality only.

The curriculum is well developed and the major areas of learning are adequately addressed. It has prepared students for practice as well as for further education. I wanted to point at such aspects of teaching design that need to be developed : offerings of practical projects and a greater focus on interactive teaching methods. The students get eligible at 3rd year 6th sem. Though before that you can do internship or freelancing which will increase the weight of your profile. Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.
